Siblings, pedo rights or marrying an animal?

come now, animals and children cant consent

but aunty mom and uncle dad is on its way,,,,

right before we totally make gender recognition a crime against 'gender equality',, or 'gender bigotry',,, because we should all just be human,,,,

consummation seems a bit outdated anyway... they've already had sex once or twice by then anyway...

true, so if we can remove the consummation factor altogether, we can make it strictly a life adjoining contract that any consenting adults can enter,,,,

although I would have preferred that be done through 'civil union'

more fuel for the future aunty moms and uncle dads of the world...lol

Same sex "married" couples are either gay or bi-sexual.

In Colorado, when a man an a woman live together, establish a residence together in the same house, if they do not have a contract stating that they are roomates sharing rent, and not to be considered married, they can be classified as a common law married couple.

Consummation is assumed. That will probably have to change, because what happens to "common law marriage" when it come to same sex couples?

Will every person sharing a house or apartment need to have separate lease agreements stating the nature of their relationship?

It is set in stone if you ever introduce the other as "wife" or "husband" or probably "better half" to a group or if you receive mail as Mr. and Mrs.

This is interesting thoughts, where do you get all these ideas? laugh
Most couples that live together have Sex, and most married couples have sex. This is one of the benefits of marriage and a livin partner.

I think it would be fraud just like sham marriages for a green card, etc. or like that movie- Chuck and Larry, where they married for health insurance

I had a date with a man, who later married a woman from another Country. She wanted a green card to the US. One thing she had to do was have Sex, when they got married. If she didn't it would have been "fraud". She left after a while and went back to her country, I don't know the rest of the story.laugh

They are not 'thoughts' they are the laws concerning common law marriage in Colorado. You do not have to live with a person for six months, or even have children with them, and you can be considered common law married even overnight if the circumstances are right...legally.

If one partner tries to throw the other one out, and steal his or her stuff in the process, common law can be applied and one person can sue the other person as if they were legally married by the state.

So the only sane solution, if you still want to allow "same sex" couples to get married, there should have to be a rule that they have to be homosexual.

So they are going to have to make marriage about sex.

This means if you get married, you will be required to have witnesses not only to your marriage ceremony, but witnesses to your sexual consummation.

Otherwise, siblings, roommates, friends, business partners, cousins, regardless of their sexual orientation will have to be allowed to marry.

but its not about the sexual behavior, its about the 'rights' that come with it

so it follows, that we shouldn't be denying any of the above mentioned americans their right to marry either,,,,,,regardless of their sexual relaton or lack there of

I mean to say, that now, unless you are going to allow any two people to get married, is has to become about sexual orientation. There will have to be a law that states that the nature of the relationship is about sexual orientation.

IF they don't do that, then two heterosexual (same sex) people can get married for the benefits and they cannot call it "fraud."

I know there is such, as Common law marriage in some states. But then you were talking about Common law for gay couples, and they just recently got civil union rights and marriage in just a few states, so I don't think that will happen any time real soon.laugh

Why not?

There have been "palimony" suits for non married heterosexual couples. Why should same sex couples be denied these same rights?

Because sex between two people, of the same sex is Unnatural.

They had to fight Years for civil union rights and marriage legal only in some states, so I guess they can keep fighting.

Why do you think it is unnatural?

Anyway, that opinion is not the issue. The issue is equal rights under the new supreme court decision.

Homosexuality exists in nature. In animals, and it has existed throughout all of the history of human kind. Therefore that it is "unnatural" is just an opinion.

There are common marriage laws, but not what she stated.
