Do some famous people have doubles?

We know for a fact that Hitler had lookalikes who posed as him, and last week I watched a show on channel two about how he may have lived to a ripe old age. I had of course heard those stories before but now they are putting it on the television for the main stream public to contemplate.

There is so much disinformation flying around these days, and not only just on the Internet. Its all over the television too.

You can't sort the news from the bull crap.

Did you know the rumor that Paul McCartney really died and his double has been playing him for a very long time? I think it could be true.

There are also rumors about Henry Kissinger being dead and one of his doubles is pretending to be him.

So what do you think? Is it possible?

Remember the movie "Dave"?

I do think there is some of this going on but one thing to keep in mind is that pulling this off would have to involve many people. In Paul's case, meeting him twice and seeing him live besides working with his music and music style it would be very unlikely. You can still do test on his voice for signature.

I met Johnny Hara and he really looks like Elvis and sings like him too, but he never worked as a double for Elvis.

I am talking about people who work filling in FOR THE ORIGINAL. Or took over their lives after the original died.

PAUL MCCARTNEY OR AN IMPOSTER?

I think the killing of John Lennon may have been to keep it covered up. Perhaps he was going to spill the beans. Perhaps that is why the Beatles broke up.

The real Paul Mccartney supposedly died in 1966.

The impostor Paul seems to have been taller. He also was a singer, but he did not sing as well as the real Paul. I never did like any of his music as a single musician.

The impostor Paul has also had plenty of plastic surgery... to look more like Paul.

Another impostor is rumored to be Henry Kissinger.

In cases like Paul Mccartney the motive of course was fame and all the money that goes with it.

A Lookalike Paul is not going to get the bookings like the original Paul would... and of course his money. His girlfriend could have easily been bought off.

Why did the band break up so soon? Why was John killed later?

Being around bands all my life it's pretty easy to see why they would break up. The pressure is overwhelming.

As far as the Paul thing, whether they did do this or not it certainly has paid off for the fans and for all those who follow this sort of thing. And in the music world this type of story telling happens all the time because after all these guys and gals are artist, and crafted ones at that.

As far as the music, Paul is one of the greatest musicians of our time.

As far as the proof everything comes out in the end somehow.

It is interesting stuff though isn't it?

I was a Beatles fan. I loved their music but it did suddenly change. Sargent Pepper's lonely hearts club band album was such a radical change from the music they had done before that, and their other albums after that were also very weird.

At the time I attributed it to the new hippy drug culture, but I was a bit disappointed in the new music. It seemed like to me that they were all on drugs.

Paul McCartney never died lol. No look alike could replace that kind of talent.

Elvis had an identical twin that died in the womb. It haunted him his entire life.

I've been surrounded by them all my life too.. so I can attest to the tensions that oftentimes gets created amongst the members.. to the point of disbanding the group..

I'd be hard pressed though to consider a talent such as a former Beatle, to have died and an impostor take over his life completely without SOMEone catching on.. and if he DID die in 1966.. that's a LOT of years to carry on the charade.. something on this grand a scale would SUREly be discovered no matter HOW well taught, long before now I'd wager

I would have to agree with this just for the fact that there are so many people around. I can't imagine how many buy offs would have to take place in "66" for this to have happened. It's not like Paul at that time only had 10 or so people around him. They were after all only the hotest thing on the planet at that time.

In the 40's I could maybe see this but the mid sixties we were already getting pretty advanced in technology that could have spotted this. Meaning we would have picked this up on our test equipment, and if not back then certainly now. I do audio voicing as a profession and think that there are probably a few if not many who have debunked this particular one with comparing the vocal signatures. Plus there is the very unique bass style. Plus the other thing for me is. Why would they have made this so obviously into a story? This would be a cover up of criminal proportions. This was a huge play on pics and words on purpose. A well planned stunt. Wouldn't (if this happened) they have wanted to down play this and not make it the biggest entertainment news of the year?

His replacement is not very good. I saw him singing last night on some show. Gag me with a spoon... he was not good.

He just does not have the same energy, the music changed drastically.
I thought the Beatles were just promoting and playing to the hippy drug culture with Sargent Pepper's lonely hearts club band.

The music was not the same Beatles that made "I wanna hold your hand" and their earlier music.

Plus, he is a lot taller.

Perhaps because you are a man.

Paul had a certain sexual magnetism... the impostor.... not.
