Well...its very common with the ladies. For example here at mingle ladies that I have read their profile what I am seeing is divorced,not married but with kids and I keep asking myself do spouse in Europe,UK do they love marrying and divorcing and even having babies outside wedlock ? You know that means it's equally common with the guys right? Ladies don't have sex with themselves out of wedlock and get pregnant. They have sex with other *men* to make that happen. Whatever statistics you've read, men are *equally* if not even more guilty than women are in this case since it's a male's natural instinct to go and spread 'wild oats' any way they can. You might say, "well that means there's still more women at fault, since a man has multiple sex partners and women do that less since it's a man's inclination to get laid with many women in order to spread seed and all that." To which I respond- What makes you think they're all women? Duhn duhn duhn. Just look at a craigslist in any city in any state and tell me honestly which personals section is 1. More chalk full of sex seekers and 2. has the biggest same-gender seeking. I'll give you a hint: it's not the girl's side. If that's not enough for you, consider this- men in general are outperformed by women in the workplace and by a wide margin in acquiring education. So why would people much smarter and cleverer than men screw over decent relationships for the sake of some dumb guy? Seems like a choice the less educated crowd would make don't you think? And since the less educated crowd consists of more men than women it follows that this is a decision more men would make. BAM! |

Some of them have divorced for more than 4 times. You can't see things like that in Africa. |

this is life and it happens...in my country once u get married u have to accept that it is forever...even if a couple arent happy together anymore they cnt break free...even if they separate and remarry it will be case on court...they cn only be separated by death...lol that was before if they cn afford annulment then nowadays they cn free tbemselves frm each other...as long as we live we keep changing our minds and feelings...my mom stayed wth my dad who was an alcoholic till before he died my mom let him sip his favorite rhum...i saw them fight and hurt her but they stayed together till he died...one thing my mom told me i wont forget...never to hesitate to leave a man when u think u have to...so i had three "marriages''...they were all married men though separated for yrs,none of them cn really marry me legally..i abandoned d frst one and the two died...i have one child frm each of them...its not just in d US,UK or Philippines...it happens evrywhere so u have a very wrong question...im proud i have kids...bec their fathers loved me so much and it never happened that i cldnt tell who were their fathers...

Well, the thing is, if you don't live in a third world country it isn't all that hard to get a job so that you can support your kids and failing that the state can afford to help out because again, it's not a third world country.
On the other hand, if you live in Africa or somewhere like that you have missionaries telling you that it's a sin to use a condom and just like the slaves in the old days you cling to that religion because an afterlife seems less crappy than what you have when you are alive. I know a lady that spent a lot of time in America and she did have a kid with a guy over there and they weren't married. Good thing for her too because he turned out to be an arsehole and he beat their daughter for pooping in her "diapers" and stuff like that and it took her two years to win that custody battle and bring her daughter back to this country. Don't know where the OP is from and if this is about religion but I frankly don't care. It's the commitment to the child that matters and the rest is just a sideshow. |

Why is it that majority of foriegn people especially American ladies are always divorcing their spouse or having kid(s) outside wedlock? Hmmmm don't know where you are getting your statistics about American ladies but you are way off mark from what I know. My children were not out of wed lock. Am I divorced, not by anyone's choosing but my own, and I will as politely as I can say it if you don't know the circumstances then you have no idea if it was in everyone's best interest or not. At least in this country what is in the best interest of families is what dictates the prevailing decisions and not some archaic standard until death do part so someone can spout elitist standards that are no different where you are from. Butt if you are a perfected model of chastity and marriage I will gladly hand you the first stone to hurl my way. I doubt you could hit the make with such slanted thinking so I have no fear. I do suggest you can your sexist anti American rhetoric because I am deeply offended and I have a very long memory when someone directly or indirectly attacks me from prejudice. Different cultures look at things different ways. For someone to stay in a abusive or loveless relationship is wrong for any culture, sometimes things go wrong and people change. I admire women who take the extra stress and financial risks to protect her family.
Side note to Greek Adonis, I think dating unsure would be well worth the risk. |

Oh I do. I totally planned to get pregnant while on birth control at 18, and my thought the whole time I planned my wedding was how excited I was that I would be getting divorced some day!  Me too. I always get into a relationship hoping it won't last ;)

And I did do studies on divorce rates and infidelity around the planet and African has the best keep records from numerous polls that were taken due to the HIV/AIDS outbreak as far back as '91? on infidelity.The men in Countries polled had an alarmingly high rate.but the woman was like 2% I believe; going on memory (6 months ago) In many country's, governments would just not let the truth out if you had an accurate count.eg) Russian: Well-i'll speak for my country; Many-hell,LOTS/TONS of young women having babies everywhere,out of wedlock!! Several from rape! And we have many safe houses for child mothers! The highest percentage of couples/families living together are NOT married legally,just cohabiting! And the birth control we get here is of the lowest range that has extreme side effects and fails too! And yes,less abstainance... That's why our HIV rate is going high again,being driven by the youth(especially university students + married men/sugar daddies)!! yeah! University students cant do without sugar daddies and it's all over the world. Married men should please leave unmarried girls alone. |

If you've ever been to Las Vegas, it's not uncommon to meet people who've been married 3-4 times... It's a happening town and people are impulsive at love&marriage... alarming? why? I think it's kinda sad that they haven't found what they needed and lost 50% of their chit a few times  i don't see it as alarmimg. See in North America, if you treat your partner like crap, chances are they'll dump your arse for a better life, like in Africa for example, Women are expected to remain in sometimes abusive homes because of social stigmas against divorce. That's alarming... Female circumcisions..horrific, disturbing and def alarming! deadbeat fathers... Alarming! You wouldn't happen to know any of these guys in Afica would you? |
