Just in case it has escaped everyone's notice, the OP did start Part Two of this subject, where he apologized for not having really understood the reasons behind the divorce, or single/w kids problem in the U.S. I believe he stated he was not fully aware of the full details and that he genuinely didn't mean to sound what we call "chauvinistic" in his approach to this subject. We may or may not believe him but maybe we need to go to Part 2 and see what happens. JMHO

Women stick it out because of the children,dependency,etc...
But,that's why we also have a maddening level of domestic violence-man hacks wife to pieces,man strangles wife to death,man poisons family kills himself,and the like! I mean,we see/hear/read this every single day!

Women in Africa have no rights and most have no back bone to stand on their own/leave.... But,there are also some who walk away,though not many!

All i can say even if u love someone with all ur hart u can never force them to stay with u . And just.becouse u have a child with some does not mean they will marry u and stay with u .
