Ever re-read your posts and felt embarrassed and regret?

Sure have, but I think sometimes we post something which seems right or correct at the time and once we have had a chance to rethink it, we come up with another way of looking at the issue posted. Can't change what was written but we can all learn and grow from rereading our own thoughts which have been made permanent in print. Next time, maybe we will do better. happy flowerforyou

Not really, but I've said some really stupid **** in real life and regretted it...as Missy said, don't feel bad, we all make mistakes. We wipe and move on....

Maybe baby

Only when I get reprimanded, like dragged in
to the office and they show me what it did
I feel like a puppy that keeps peeing on the
carpet.
yeah I feel really bad I got caught. blushing

Not really embarrassed but things have been a bit awkward at times. I do like to get involved in a good conversation, which sometimes can be a bit tricky as I haven't got the vocabulary a native speaker has got. So it's a bit more difficult to express my ideas and feelings as it's easy to get a word or phrase in that is not exactly what I meant to say. (some things cannot be translated as there is no English word for it, so I have to paraphrase)
Then there's a, sometimes huge, cultural difference as well, so I've ended up in conversations that got somewhat sticky and awkward.

Its a healthy attitude to only feel regret for what we have done than to feel remorse for what we failed to do... Also its never too late to say one is sorry as most often, the offended person can appreciate our efforts to correct a faux pas- if not we still have the opportunity to demonstrate some needed courage and strength sadly missing in social relationships..

Those that have genuine and good Spirit from above rarely exhibit incorrigible disposition.
