I am not sure how to put this in a way in which you will understand but to just put it simply,I had some work done on my Computer and they installed IE& and I hate it!
Can someone please tell me how to go get IE6 back and if I need to uninstall IE7 first?
I read a post earlier about uninstalling so I have that part down..LOL..And if you DONT get on the web via IE,what else is there?
THanks!

The microsoft website was letting us put back on IE6 after making the mistake of adding IE7....

Go to microsoft downloads and you should find in there.

If you really want to get rid of IE7, then go to START-CONTROL PANNLE- ADD AND REMOVE- then just go down the list until you see IE and then delete it.

It will get rid of your IE7 and put you back at IE6. Then after you are done that, might me a good idea to open your START menu again and go to SEARCH and then type in "internet Explore 7. And delete all the files that come up there. Not doing it will not impact you not getting IE6 back, but it just saves room on your HDD.

But I agree FireFox, is a much better browser.

Don't get rid of IE completely, there are a few applications you can't access with firefox.

If you are having slow start up issues then try going to run and type in "msconfig" without the (""), and then push enter. From there a screen will come up. Go to the tap at the top that says start up. And just un-click everything that you do not want starting up when you turn on your computer. Click OK. It will ask you to restart your computer. When you do that upon reload a message box will come up saying that you have used the utility tool, blah, blah, blah. Click on the little box that says, do not show me this message again. Click OK then you are done.

And thank you. Yes that is my little cutie.

All the best.
