Kissing is actually a very intimate thing. It's opening your body (vulnerable) and basically something entering your body (someone's tongue). Some people that have bad experiences with a dentist being rude and inconsiderate, might have problems with intimacy at some level. It seems simple, huh, a kiss, what's the big deal, but it IS a big deal. Well, can be. Kissing is also scientifically proven, a test to see if you match (hormonal thing) and can produce good offspring. It's the first physical test so to speak, after of course non-touchy things, like someone's scent. It's just very intimate. I've learnt that if kissing doesn't click, the rest doesn't click either. If there's no chemistry with kissing, there's also no chemistry in the sack. And last, why do you think many prostitutes don't kiss? Because it's intimate! So my guess is this guy either doesn't really love her or has a big problem somewhere deep down with opening up, being vulnerable, intimacy, fear of commitment. Somewhere along those lines. By not kissing her, he maintains an emotional distance.
