Women: should a man put photos on his profile of him posing and flexing for example bodybuilding strength/fitness demonstrations. Or would you prefer not to see them on a public profile?

What do you figure ? I'd say a couple would be fine.. but more than that and you'll give off the impression of being self absorbed.. obsessive.. and that no one could possibly live up to the standards you've set for yourself.. however as pony mentioned.. this is not a request to rate your profile so I'd set it up the way you'd like it then ask (in that forum) what people think.. you'll get a much better response... cheers and welcome to M2

Personally I don't like it, you can tell if someone works out or not without all the flexing.

No offense to you musclepowerman... My x-husband was a bodybuilder. His entire life revolved around the mirrors in the gym and how much he could pump himself up in front of his friends. His self centered obsession didn't leave room in his life for much else and even his mother tried to get him to balance his life more effectively while our marriage lasted less than 2 years despite my best efforts to please him by joining the gym and getting in awesome shape myself. Now when I see another man that looks like he spends all his time on his appearance so he can be the alpha male in posing competitions showing off how much work and time and money went into sculpting himself that way I run. My ex was natural, but his best friend was into roids. Roids shrinks a man's you know what and makes him mean, moody, and impulsive, with no patience. His friend tried to beat a train in a fit of rage thinking he was invincible, no, he didn't win that showdown. Like I said, no offense to you, but I'm glad you're a public poser so I know right away that I'm looking for the wallflower type. Welcome to Mingle2, I'm sure there are lots of women who prefer physical beauty to... anything else... P.S. Fast forward from 1988... my ex never found another woman to settle down with. So I guess living and dying alone is worth the lifestyle choice to some people.

Thanks for the many and diverse responses. Wasn't after a rate, just after people's opinions. Well I once had a tug of war against my friends motorbike but I think that was a bit of a different situation. Blondey I knew I could rely on you to vote for the muscle show haha
