The thing with cancer or any illness is that it's not over right away. We hope, pray and ask all the hard questions. Treatment, or whatever. The best thing we can do is rally together to keep the person's spirits up. To be there and share love, hope and let him know he's not alone. We're all there with our love and encouragement to him and each other. Send you hugs too

Yes .. BNJ .. I know more than most how true your words are. That is why I choose to be me and not let insignificant details bother me. I am privileged to share many journeys in life .. Some happy but mostly devastating . Noone is immune .. we are all vulnerable . The long day on the road it's going to be from here to Daphne. Where I'm going to meet with the insurance company's new mouthpiece. They've made sure that I've had to spend more than $25,000 in out of pocket expenses while they claim nothing is related on their end. Now all of a sudden they call me and say they have something to offer me but I have to go all the way to Baldwin County to find out what it is. Meanwhile, the carrier didn't forward the mileage reimbursement form like they said they would and the clinic didn't call to confirm the appointment either. So all in all its already going as I had anticipated that it would. After all, leopards never change their spots. And wolves are still wolves even if they plot sneak attacks in sheep clothing.

That its raining incessantly and I gotta drive in it for at least 6 hours today. I also hope the creek has risen over the road by the time I get back so I don't have to turn around and go the long way home. Gotta go... wish me luck... friend and foe...
