Quran states;
Don't marry Mushrik women until they believe. A believing slave woman is better than Mushrik even if she pleases you. And don't marry Mushrik men until they believe. A believing slave man is better than a Mushrik even if he pleases you. They call towards fire and God calls you towards paradise and forgiveness with his will and make clear his verses for people so that they may understand. (Quran 2:221)
Mushrik is the person who practices idolatry or polytheism.

Really, will Judaism take no proselytes ?

They take them but there is a rigorous conversion process.

It includes trial by fire.

slaphead IamwhoIam1, You can message me privately if You want, as I can't because I'm not rich, successful, or a man who is FEMALE !

Hahaha I updated my filters to stop the hundreds of e-mails from men I wasn't interested in. It's been nice and peaceful now. Ahhhhhh

Thankfully, most people in the Jewish community aren't Polytheists (Worshiping More Than The One God) and don't incorporate Idols or Images in their worship.

But I'mwhoIam, isn't not having someone who converts to Your religion as being frowned upon kind of a counter-productive idea ?

*********************************

I'm reminded of the story of Delilah who essentially converted the man who was so passionately in love with her, only to have her family eventually kill him in his most vulnerable state. (His Being Circumcised)

Surely, You see the folly of that decision ?

Correction: The name was Hanna, not Delilah.

I remember that story.
She was Jacob's only daughter.
They agreed to everything Jacob asked for in exchange for Dinah's hand in marriage. His sons took it upon themselves to break that agreement. Their act was unsanctioned albeit, left unpunished.

I dont think god gives a toot about our silly socio/cultural constructions.

Absolutely!!!

Galatians 3: 28
"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus."

Glory be to God. He has made HIS position clear! We are all one human race!

The same Bible however does instruct Christians not to get unequally yoked with unbelievers...for light, it says, has no fellowship with darkness. This has nothing to do with color.

Delilah is the name the Bible says; NOT Hannah!

oops Here's what happened, Jesusmyall and Pansytilly...

Everybody has heard the phrase, "Holy Hanna !" or "Holy Dinah !"

I'd remembered the story about Shechem and Dinah, but for some reason I'd remembered one of Sampson's wives, Delilah.

***********************************************

Pansytilly has emphasised the point I was trying to get across to IamwhoIam1.

I'm wondering if the Jewish community actually sees this as a good recourse of actions from the past ? noway

Did Delilah actually become Samson's wife? I know he married a Philistine long before Delilah... Judges 14

Moses married a black woman. I live in Brazil . here is common to find white women with black guys. and white men with black women. I'll marry a black woman without being afraid of going to hell for this. What no . can is racism. Discrimination. Be a bad person. Do not do wickedness. anyway. do not follow the commandments of God.
