Sounds like a silly question huh? But to me it's not easy to get over even though the relationship ended in a bad way. I don't think i still love him but i feel bad to see him happy without me. What a selfish woman I am!

This is determined by each individual. Some people hang on much longer than others. It doesn't make you selfish, it makes you human. Some things cannot be rushed.

And just sometimes it is harder to let go when it was bad because you have an innate emotional drive to 'fix' things not walk away.

Reality is calling. Move on because your heart finally understands that there is no turning back. Make sure that when you give your heart away, it's to someone who has hands strong enough to hold it forever, yet gentle enough to hold it without breaking it.flowerforyou

My first relationship took 6 months to get over but I've got it down to 39 minutes now.

The quickest way to get over is to get under pitchfork I'm getting pretty quick at it laugh

Always depends on how much time is spent dwelling on it. Yes, we have feelings. Allow yourself a certain amount of time to grieve it as needed. Keep it short and keep it moving.

Some people stay in a relationship for a long time -hoping it will work out. During that time they feel completely alone and when the break up actually happens- moving on is quicker because they feel like they have been single for such a long time already.
