Healing and learning how to not allow others to own you. sometimes people will try to convince us that they arent doing anything wrong and that the issue is with you. they are half right. they are doing something wrong, and the issue is with allowing the relationship to continue. No one owns me. I can not be bought or owned. I have control of what I do and when I do it.... The only thing I owe anyone is to give respect where it is earned... I don't owe anyone either. I cannot physically own anyone. My trigger has been tripped and I get a resentment, that person, place or thing occupies my mind and interfers with my life and emotional well-being. I will suffer long after that P,P T, has forgotten all about me. I will suffer for as long as I hang onto that resentment How long have y'all allowed resentment own you? I did for years after leaving my parents house. Finally healed, BFTGOG. Nothing really belongs to us anyway. Money and possessions (people too) get passed around upon generations. No one can. We're all connected biologically as equals. Even Monarchs. As long you let it invade your thoughts, you'll always be subjected to someone else's abuse. The ones who laugh at you for expressing this emotion are a huge part of the problem, not gender specific either. I listen to my gut, it tends to be right when things seems to hit a periodic dead end. I think everyone has their little battles and triumphs, that's your story, we all figure out what we're dealing with in our own way. It's not always exactly the same as the next person. |
