Sounds like too much work for me. I'm out of the "merrier" socialization aspect of this.

You guys were at it early this morning! laugh

Thank god for the time difference, I'm never at anything much early in the morning, lol.

No, no party at mrld's house tonight.

My 9ers decided to NOT play football, and instead lost out being out-thugged on the field.

EVERYthing gets put on hold for a 49ers game. I will spend the rest of the week being a forty-whiner, dammit. I watched the whole fricken thing, so I deserve it.

We sucked the big weenie, tonight. AND had a chance to pull ahead of the Seahawks if we'd just played football, double dammit.

AND, every team I picked to straight-up win (no points considered) - save 3 - lost.

I sucked the big weenie, this weekend, too...

...and NOT in a good way.

However, I AM kicking the *** of my opponent in my fantasy league, this week...AND I'm the only girl on the league. I am soooooo biting my tongue and NOT logging in to the "Trash Talk" page to point out THAT little factoid to the other players,

because I am a good sport, doncha know.

Football games?
Okay, I'll just hook the xbox up in the other room.
It'll give me something to do while you're watching the games.

Please, please, please tell me,
that you're not a fan of the Dallas Crybabies.

One can NOT be a football fan AND like the Dallas Cowbois.

One can also NOT be a 9ers fan AND a Seahawks fan; it's in The Rules, and schtuff. This is why I wore my "Anybody But Seattle" shirt during their game in San Diego game, today...and it worked, I might add.

I thought about wearing my brand-new Kap jersey today, but I'd worn my glitter-9er shirt LAST week when we won, so I had to, again, today.

NEXT week, I'll wear my new #7 jersey.

"It's only weird if it doesn't work", dammit. rant There's protocol to this stuff, yanno?!?

Are you sure it's all in the shirts?

Maybe it's the dip bowl coordination?

Nahhhh...I had no dip bowls out.

Last week, I was busy dealing with stuff with my mom's house, so I didn't drink during the 9ers game.

This week, she was all settled in here with me, so I drank my Coors Light while the game was on. And we lost.

I've learned my lesson. Next week, I'm wearing my new Kap jersey AND NOT drinking Coors Light.

I'm gonna go for the hard stuff, instead. pitchfork

laugh laugh I'm not a beer drinker. Everyone always asks, "Are you drinking water?" Sometimes I actually answer them. You'll win next week.

That' awesome that your mom is with you now. My mom was pulling out weeds from the garden this wknd (at her house)...flowerforyou

Ahhh, fleta...it's not REALLY good that my mom's with me, now. She's getting ready for her 2nd back surgery, which she's thoroughly convinced herself will be a breeze.

Before the FIRST surgery, a few years ago, they promised her she'd be dancing that very same night. After it was over instead they spoke of putting her in a convalescent home for 2 weeks to recover.

One does NOT tell an old person they'll be going to an 'old folks' home' for "a couple of weeks". 'Old folks' know they're sent to "old folks' homes" to die; she did NOT handle the surgery - or its recovery - very well, at all.

She's been with me for last few weeks, since she's been taken off her meds which HAD been making the pain she's been in bearable. She goes back home Wednesday and then in for surgery on Thursday...we'll see how she does from there.

I am soooo not thinking about Joan Rivers' *routine* surgery, right now...

In any event, I'll keep tweaking the formula 'til I find out what makes my 9ers win, consistently...

...OR die trying, dammit!!! HA!

oh, no, you can not tell an old person "nursing home recovery"....I saw it so many times. They never leave. It's beurocratic. I've seen entire health care teams ignore/minimize/patronize the residents needs only to fill a space that generates money.

I have promised to not let my mom go to a nursing home. She's doing okay so far without dad. She had a triple bi-pass a few years ago. I can't believe she isn't allergic to heart meds like I am. Damned hereitary gunk.

They say I need another surgery now too. I am not willing this time tho. I'm surprised your mother is going for the 2nd surgery. I've read up on that new lazer surgery too. Apparently you could be a podietrist performing neuro-spinal surgery with licenses. No thanks, I don't have a hang nail in my spine. They've said feeding tubes to me, or death from loss of spinal fluid due to my "complexities". I walked away from all of them again. I'll just see how long I can function, "as is", then.

Yep, before surgery you have to quit NSAID's for a couple weeks before. Frankly, don't think I could function without my IB, not even for 2 wks. I would be hitting that bottle to no tomorrow, and testing the formula for mrld's win win sit-i-a-tion. I almost dread the day mom and I will move back in together *IF* she needed me. I live an hour away, and I'm sure she'd make me move back there to her house in that god forsakken town.
