You learn after some years on the forum(s) what ever you feel, is okay. It's your life and your growth.

Besides that, sometimes the more times people profess a state of being, it's perceived as boastful and a direct untruth.

But it shouldn't matter anyway, if you are only looking for 50 mile radius, and those gals are unsavvy that read it.

JoJo I love the new profile! More concise and to the point! Everybody here had to learn the ropes of online dating. I think we are constantly learning. That is the best way to get to know someone, ask questions. You will learn how to filter, report and block the people who just want to scam you. Remember to be yourself and get involved with other forums. Many people will not reply to nudges or emails unless they have seen you in the forums. You are not alone. Feel free to ask questions. This is not a chat site. You have to follow the rules of the forums and keep it pg or pg13. I do not remember. Just have patience and be willing to make new friends. Mingle2 is kind of like a crazy family.
