Did someone find true love during web chat

There's something to say about dating sites now a days, a true and honest person are rare as hens tooth as they say, I myself have encounters about scammers locals and from the states, it's very disappointing and I was totally shock that there are so many of them out there looking for vulnerable person to victimize and or taken advantage of. This is my first time in a dating site and I don't really likes what I have experience so far, I thought I filter the people I communicate well but it seems like there are so many of them, men and women alike with so many excuses.
The best bet to find a true sincere one would be a site that you pay money to first and I think members are screened on that site, a professional dating site I believe.
Because of try experienced I have doubts now with every person who wants to communicate with me.

I have, but it was after a couple of years of messaging/Skyping that we got to where we wanted to meet in person, and it was after meeting more than once that we decided to take things further, but this was also semi-long distance as she lived in another state. We met through here, and chatted a lot in the forums a long time before we even contacted each other outside the site. Now things are close distance as she moved to my state. So yes, people have found their mates on here, but you have to do all of the work, don't expect the site to do it for you.

Best advice I can give, is get into the forums, post post post, let people see your personality, talk to people from the forums, you'll have less chance of running into scammers that way. But like out there in the offline world, be cautious.

yes i think so. been scammed here too but with the right kind of questions and just talking and really listening you can find someone real. im trying and its working. talk talk talk. they have to want to eventually meet up too.its all up to the two people. i have found someone real and taking it day by day but i know he is. been talking a couple months already and we are just taking our time getting to know each other and we are in no hurry. only time will tell but i say YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
