Do i need Adobe to use Mingle2 ? I have been using the site for some time now and in the last 20 minutes i have had a pop up telling me i need to upgrade it for Mingle.I'm not getting it on any of the other tabs i have open,and when i did try to update it at first my anti virus gave me a warning.Is it my computer,or Mingle that is having a problem ?

No. Advertising.

It is usually updated automatically with my browser,but for some reason i am getting it every few minutes,it takes up my full screen,and even when i click to cancel it still tries to download.Again i have to point out that it's only happening on the Mingle tab,everything else i have open is clean.

I'm not sure what the 'No.Advertising.' comment refers to.Personally i am not advertising,i am giving as much information as possible to find out what the problem is.I don't usually get pop ups,i have that blocked in my settings,but it's telling me to upgrade something i already have.I hope it isn't Mingle allowing advertising because it is spoiling my time on here having to leave whatever page i am on each time and go back again.

It may be the ads causing this, Justfun_1, and I'm afraid they are necessary. I believe that is what fleta_n_mach meant with the reply above mine.

Good to hear that it has stopped. Our ad manager told me that she may block Adobe ads, so that could've played into it.

I used to use that neat little thing called "No Script" too. I know I've been "spoken to" at another site by the owner, and virtual spanking for blocking his pay to click able ads. He was hawt, but I still ignored the ads.
