so, as a survivor of sexual assault,, my question is what woman after being sexually assaulted , continually and for years visits and hangs out with their attacker?

and when is it so terrible for people that are hanging out and getting high and drunk together, to end up having sex together,,,,because one or both of them decided CONSENTUALLY to take the drugs that left them so unaware?

,,,,,dangerous precedent being set,, for men who hang out with women that are heavy drug users/drinkers,,,

thing is,, I never took time to say 'I consent to this', when I was intimate with anyone,,,whether it was when I was assaulted or 'consentual'


people give/receive the 'consent' in the vast majority of cases by reading body language, taking verbal cues,,,etc,,,

if you are one who gets too wasted to 'remember' things,, perhaps you should not endulge in potentially intimate settings

like someone ELSES hotel room alone, or their house alone,,,etc,,,

will we really need to resort to a 'three yes' type of rule for sex to be consentual

the other party must say 'yes' verbally three times before consent is assumed to be given,,,,lol

well, I have been near unconscious during 'cosentual' sex,,, yes

boredom will do that, but it still wasn't the same as the assault I survived,,,

well now one cant know its boring unless its happening,, right?

mostly in my teen years when I didn't know any better(nor did he) or what it 'could' be like,, I consented,, even though I was rather bored sometimes,,,

some men are aroused more by physical touch than some review of the emotion behind it,,,,


he was 'aroused' by my body,, and no doubt his ego was of the belief that he could 'arouse' me,,,just to be honest

the rest was pretty much auto pilot from there,,,,

but all sex is not 'sensual',.,some can be very romantic, some can be very rough, some can be very dirty

but they can all be done with 'consent'

For it to happen, one of the two would have to be aware...If the other one is not aware it is ALWAYS wrong...Being unaware is NOT giving consent...

That's another way of saying "If you play with fire, then you will eventually get burned."

how do two people, if they are both in some state of unaware,, know that the other is unaware?

thats true, except noone ever looks to the fire to be anything but fire
