I watched the riots develop for about two hours and was surprised the police were so passive. They did nothing to respond to the mayhem going on over near the McDonalds that included the looting.

The PC of officials has gotten so out of control. I firmly believe that the main reason most of the damage and looting occurred is because the crowd knew no one was going to do anything to stop it. The police seems to be all bunched up about a mile away from the action.

I see this as one of the many causalities of the anti-racist movement and of the 'twitter/tumblr effect'.

It is so easy to spread lies and inflame passions, its now politically necessary to be more cautious than ever, in how one handles rioters, looters, and arsonists whose actions coincide with protesters.

And Al Notsosharpton is stirring the Pot Nationwide!

There may be others doing some stirring too.grumble

Al Sharpton had a perfect opportunity to be the leader that he claims to be. To be out on the street in Ferguson after the verdict was read.. to be with the people he claims to speak for.To try to stop the looting from taking place...at the very least.. try.

The entire country waited for the verdict. He had more then enough time to get him and his team in place.

But he chose to stay far from the looting.. nice and safe.. then do what Al Sharpton does... wait for the looters to rob their local stores.. trash their own town.. and then he strolls into the conference room at the local Sheraton Hotel.. waits for the lights and cameras to shine on him and then talks of injustice.

What about the hard working shop owners who just had their livelihood wiped out...no injustice there.. Al?

Yup, yup. They keep it tacked up right next to Jesse's pic.

In their defense, though, they sleep with a picture of President Obama pinned to their pillows; that's how they come up with all their *good* stuff on him:

in their dreams.

Bigger then this one incident.. which happens to be one of the biggest U.S. current events gaining worldwide attention?

As long as he shows up.. and does what?

No.. a leader leads. Not just with his mouth.. with his actions. He could have acted..and didn't...he cherry picks his fights.

And no..I don't put photos of that type of " leader" in my home. I prefer to honor people who fight for injustice.. regardless of the color of the skin

No one got the news brief!

Mr Sharpton is not of color!

Mr Sharpton became a white plantation owner many years ago.

Didn't he play a cameo in Django Unchained...

lets face it...

there would be no job for "race advocates", if there were not race issues creating racial dispute and tensions and deaths...

how can one who's entire lifestyle is created by racial strife existing, actually be expected to seek to stop racial issues...

it would put them self out of a job and end a lavish lifestyle of celebrity status and fame...

only the gullible would believe that their true best interest were being served and at heart by what profits from the same occurring...

it's a conflict of interest...

but then the only one's gullible who would be so easily deceived are those that are begging for someone to tell them they are a victim...

and how they are abused...

but of course, it wouldn't serve the cause to be pointing out any ways these same one's have abused others...

as the world turns...

for any victim mentality can be easily persuaded and duped, since all one has to do is give them false empathy, for that is what they are craving to establish them self as a victim...

but how will these ever become wise enough to not be fooled without someone to dupe them...

if they can be so easily deceived, their heart is not in the right place to begin with.

so Mr Sharpton is serving a perfect grand purpose...

making poor saps more wise.

in time.

so wisdom and greater intelligence could not be created without him.

so his value is as equal to all others on the planet.

it truly be no different than a player preying on a grieving widow.

peace

lol, we had TWO white WOMEN shot and killed last week by Eau Claire police. The meth heads were clearly brandishing weapons, and one stabbed an officer several times. Two separate incidents. Funny how we are not rioting up here. laugh

true true...

well whites were the one's making slaves out of people of color, and not the other way around...

so the white populous is targeted for their great great great grand parents actions...

but then whites did have them banned from normal societal places not so very long ago, so we are paying for our grand parents actual racism...

any that treat people like that are scum.

they should be relegated to banishment until they agree to relinquish such primitive unequal notions and actions...

it will be a happy day when the issues are put to rest for all.

for one I love this guy laugh

I believe the looters and those of violence are a separate issue ...in the riots ... they are just doing this becouse they can ...does not have anything to do with brown... they see a opportunity to steal and create violence ... if you look at any situation even in wars... what do people do ... this ... so this is kinda on that level and the opportune time ...

The family of police-shooting victim Akai Gurley had a message on Friday for the Rev. Al Sharpton: Keep your “circus” away from his funeral!

The blowhard opportunist muscled his way into the arrangements — and even put out press releases promising to deliver the eulogy — without ever consulting the family or offering to foot the bill.

Read the article MS Harmony... this is Sharpton in a nutshell.. this is why the man is despised.

He is nothing more then a self serving leach... not the leader you portray him to be.

Sad truth is that the people who are rioting and looting are using the death of a man as an excuse to steal beer and things for their own selfish wants.

Free Nike shoes soothes the pain of loss.....

I agree, violence and destruction aren't the answer.

I do hope protesting and boycotting continues though. Change needs to happen.

this is one accusation amongst many,, its not a 'nutshell' of anything,,,

I do wish the family justice, not sure how dependable the post is or if there may have actually been confusion

but the good Sharpton has done will always be met with criticism over the press it leads him to attract,,,

here is possibly the something 'more' that he is,,,with a bit more information in the article,,

MLK didn't show up at every injustice or potential injustice around the country either,, like the rest of us,, he nor Sharpton can possibly achieve that level of 'leadership' being ONE person and having so MANY events happening at any given time,,,
