In the coming years there could be communication from another planet...it might sound unlikely at this point yet its imminent

Mightmoe... You must define what is 'natural' in the Universe! think

why? do you not know what is natural?

Well, what if God exists naturally in the Universe? spock

then it's still a being... not sure what a god is or isn't... is it powers that defines a god? is it intelligence? if something is smarter than us, is that a god? if it is a creator, then wouldn't that be a sign of intelligence rather than omnipotence powers? just because we haven't learned to create life doesn't mean we won't... if we do, are we then gods?

i see it this way:

the human race has been around supposedly for about 200,000 years, with a written, knowledge transfer for a few thousand...
the universe is supposedly 14.6 billions years old... what if a race of beings has a knowledge transfer for 5 billions years of learning...

just by the shear knowledge factor, wouldn't they be god-like in our eyes?

With a Universe as broad as it is... Why wouldn't it be fair-seeming to naturally have a Omni-potent Entity just as dynamic in all its abilities as well?

i agree, it's a good possibility...

a good example would be Q, from Start Trek, TNG...

Yes, the 'Q' were an incredible example of a sci-fi unlimited Beings.

I've got to be the oldest Star Trek fan.

I remember when it first came out in 1967

I'd come home from a 1/2 day of Kindergarten to actually see it in the middle of the afternoon. (The Producers Didn't Know If It Would Fly)

Okay, I'm not the oldest Star Trek fan.

I'm one of the earliest!

Say Mightymoe, You're able to put all kinds of graphics on this site... How about doing me a favor?

Post the flag of Saudi Arabia...

You know, the one with the green field and a sword under a bunch of squiggly lines.

I'll tell You and everybody else, what the heck it says!

It's pertinent to this subject.

Usually, it's on a all-green field or back-drop and the sword has the pommel on the left side and the point of the sword on the right side.

No stars of David, though.

This flag would have the pole on the left side of it, and if it were reversed, the writing would be the same except the tip of the sword would be pointed toward the pole again.

Arabic is a Semitic language, just like Hebrew. So, it's written from right to left.

From the top right-hand side of this flag the writing starts and proceeds to the left. <----- Direction Of Reading-----<<<<

It says, "La Illahu illa Allah, Mohammadt ur rasual Allah"

Which translated means, "(There Is) No (Other) gods with the exception (Of) Allah, (And) Mohammad is the slave (Of) Allah"

It's important to note, that because Arabic is one of the worlds oldest languages, a good-many of the conjunctive words that we use regularly aren't there.

It's a little-bit like Tarzan Talk and Yoda mixed together.

Okay, Moe, we were discussing the 'Q' and You made a relative comparison to the omnipotence of such a Being.

one of the reasons the bible has been "altered"... a small reason, but language drifts over the years, and since arabic is one of the oldest, it gets edited more... i'm thinking hindu and maybe chinese might as old or older...
