Not to mention when the site modified some uses of the site, it made a lot of peoples pictures blurry and distorted. If users haven't re-uploaded there photos, that could be why.

It is very difficult to put a picture here because you should not only stick to size limitations but your pictures should also have proper proportions. My attempts to put a full size picture, not only portrait failed, not that it is so important. And also some people prefer to hide themselves because they do not look very well probably or the do not look well on pictures like it is in my case.

Your picture would be beautiful if you would just smile....you are very attractive but the lack of smiling drops them way down.

It is possible that a scammer would deliberately blur an image.

That's pretty much my excuse - my picture keeps getting adjusted to different sizes and dimensions, and if it gets larger, it gets blurrier. All I can say is that when I took it, and stored it on my computer, it's perfectly clear. (Not the best lighting, but the picture is crisp.)

nah I think just the opposite - when I put pic of myself here I always blur it or add effects so that the scammers cannot lift my image and use it ....

shocked

In my case, it was a quick selfie with a mascot at a hockey game between periods. He had kids to entertain and I had a game to finish watching.

it's not the people posting the pics, it's the people that write the code.
every time they upgrade, things like this happen. look at the text in many of the older post. the punctuation is a mess.
the photo ordeal is inexcusable. i've never seen anything like this anywhere else.

I think your pictures are great...just need to smile a bit, although I understand it's a "thing" for eastern Europeans. :)

I've wondered about this as well, as some seem to deliberately make their pictures less clear.
Maybe it's a vanity thing? It's good way to hide things you don't want people to see, like wrinkles or bags under your eyes etc. So making yourself look prettier or younger than you actually are?

It's my camera's self preservation mode. If it were to truly focus, it might just crack its lens. laugh
