The hook up seems to be the norm these days, but some people are still interested in dating. Usually it's those 35 and older who even know what dating is anymore. If you want more than just a hook up, hold out for what you want. Why should you lower yourself just because everyone else is? All the best to you.

I always conduct myself like a perfect gentleman... when out on a date.
.. pick the perfect restaurant. . open every door for her.. . select the wine... .... lend her my arm for support as we walked down the street.... ...... but somehow and for some reason and I don't know why... ... at the end of every date.. . when I pull out my credit card machine... and ask them how would they like to pay for the evening... ....... somehow I'm always left feeling like a little bit of a gigolo....  . |

What does hook up mean? Does it mean sex like with a hooker? it means casual sex, like early on in dating with no real commitment. to the original question, many people see respect as old fashioned. I believe in dating, being friends and getting to know each other. when you fall in love you know each other can love the whole person |

Friends with benefits can be a very good thing.
I know, I know, different subject. As for me, I am not looking for a "serious" hook ups. But nothing serious either and I come to realize that makes me look bad. Not quite sure why we must label anything? Why not just go with a flow, be honest with our intention, so he/she can decided that it is something he/she wants? |
