Birthers are a major part of the reason why ANYONE with ANY issue with Obama and his running of the country are all viewed as whack jobs. First you wanted a birth certificate. One surfaced showing he was born in Hawaii and that wasn't good enough. And someone on a another thread even said that being born in Hawaii AFTER Hawaii became a state qualified him as foreign born. It's ridiculous. Take the tinfoil off your heads, step away from the microwave, and look at REAL issues. Here's the real issue. To even run for President you have to prove by birth certificate that you are a US Citizen. any, and I mean ANY American can get a certified copy of their birth certificate within 2 weeks of applying with the hall of records where you were born, providing it exist. Why did it take him 2 years and he had to go to Hawaii personally to pick it up. BTW, I studied Obama intensely before he was ever elected and He had devoted to Islam at age 13. His Father and Stepfather were both Muslim. When you devote to Muslim and revert to some other faith (unless it's of course to fool your enemy) you will be executed, you are worse than and infidel according to the Quran. More real issues, just recently, even as Christians are being persecuted all over the world by Islamic extremist, Obama took the liberty of slamming Christians at the Easter Prayer breakfast just last Sunday. His first month in office at the Arab League Summit he apologized to Arab leaders for the behavior of the United States toward the middle east and proclaimed "We are not a Christian Country". At the time Christians made up 78% of the US population, I think that pretty much makes the US a Christian Country. Certainly the most prominent Faith by any definition. I can't believe after everything he has said and done since he took office, there's still a few of you out there looking the other way and proclaiming him to be a "Good" President. You clearly don't know me or my political leanings. You've also not paid attention to this thread. Where have I said ANYTHING to indicate that Obama is a good President? I'm not looking the other way. I'm simply acknowledging that a birth certificate was produced. It was verified by the only prominent news source that is not in his pocket. Harping on this issue halfway through his second term accomplishes nothing more than making those who don't support Obama look like a bunch of tinfoil hat wearing loons. Again, Hillary Clinton had the connections and the money to reveal this during the primary process, and John McCain, the senior Senator with many years in the Senate, also could have uncovered it. Neither was able to. Next time, pay attention to everything, not just the parts you like that you think can make you look smarter than the guy whose views you feel the need to define. I'm perfectly capable of forming my own views and I don't need your help. I just answered your statement, wasn't looking to answer the entire thread, but you had to say something about making a big deal out of the birth certificate and I was just saying that it was a bigger deal than you were making it out to be. It's just not a 2 year process to get your birth certificate. I agree that it's not nearly as big a deal as the rest of the crap he's pulled. So don't go off at me because you got a straight answer on why the birth certificate issue was a big deal. I threw in the other crap because that was related to the thread. don't worry about him... but what you're saying is true, some people just don't want to think for themselves... my main point when it started was why wasn't it shown while/before he was running for president? the liberals are scammers and liars, and things like this just prove it more... i think the democrats took advantage of America when everyone was pissed off at bush, and snuck little things like this under the radar... the the 8 trillion dollar housing bailout was a complete scam, the auto bailout was as well, ending up almost taking the city of detroit of the map...the stupid people, being so mad at bush, closed their eyes and minds up to everything but getting anyone to replace bush... well, I don't understand why the Republican Party didn't jump all over the fact the Obama didn't go through proper protocol in registering as a Presidential candidate. The whole systems a mess with corruption and manipulation. Activist and lobbyist have their hands in the politicians back pocket so nothing gets done the way the majority of Voters want it to. They need to gut it all out, start over by following the Constitution to the letter and politicians work for the constituency not the other way around. No more career politicians and no more fat pensions, etc.etc.etc. You want to fix Social Security.......put Congress on it, it will be fixed tomorrow |

If he was not born in the USA (apparently there are NO records of his first 6yrs of life in Hawaii, only his school registration at his grand parents house), then WE have a President who, NEVER was President! What greater disgrace could we have as Americans ? If he never was President ( by our law), then what the hell is he? Dictator ? He certainly isn't Emperor. He was a natural born United States citizen because his parents were citizens at the time of his birth. |

The issue that is raised in this thread regarding this was Obama taking 2 years to provide documentation. It's just not that hard of a process when you know where you were born and where your records are on file in order to get a certified copy of that documentation. The huge difference between Ted Cruz and Obama is he is just now starting his campaign and has already proven his Citizenship that falls within the guidelines. Why was Obama allowed to proceed with a Presidential Campaign without proof or documentation until actually 3 years after starting his campaign. |
