If a man does not challenge me intellectually, it bothers me. I would like a man to be both physically and intellectualy stimulating to me but those men are always taken.

well, smart isnt a turn OFF

but

intelligence alone isnt a turn on without character and integrity to go with

I know alot of intelligent, arrogant buttheads that I would never choose to be around any longer than I had to

I agree with msharmony. Intelligence is a turn on, but only accompanied with other qualities that are also, and even more, important for me. Intelligence says nothing about character of a man - its just something he can use as he wish. But how he will use his adventages - it depends on his heart. So yes, intelligence, but with firm character.

"Smart" is good; "Smart-Azz, Boastful & Arrogant" is a turn-off.

Yes smart men are a HUGE turn on. However, shirtless pics are NOT!

the irony of the op is awesome.

awesome singular subject, plural verb usage when asking if smart is a turn on.

Ding!! We have a winner folks... Smart is great....Even if the sex is great you have to eventually have a conversation I prefer at that point to actually verbalize instead of using flash cards... sorry lol

I like stupid men because they make me look better, don't go to Taco Bell because they think it's a phone company, ask the obvious, so the answer is easy. And usually cover up the tiny stuff while showing off what doesn't matter. .... Nothing meant by that.

Yes I agree smart is in. I like them to have something between their ears and knows how to use it. Everything is solved. You don't need to worry because he has sorted it. I'm not worried about the rest.

Smart is good but a know it all is not. I like to be able to talk to someone and not have to make myself less knowledgeable about a topic because that person doesn't get it. I once talked to someone where I had to explain every other word I used and when he still didn't get it would reply with Xxx, Lol or Mwah. Now I'm not saying I'm the smartest person out there and I'm dumb about a lot of things but I need a more stimulating conversation than that.
However there is a lot more to a person than just intelligence. msharmony makes a good point.
