Basha, I seriously doubt that members of one race are more racist than members of any other race.

how does one measure 'racism' in a quantity to determine 'more'?...lol

its not sad at all for those who have been mistreated to be distrusting of those who mistreated them,,,

its quite natural...

are you sure about that?..lol

because news doesn't bombard their viewers with it,, doesn't mean it doesn't happen

and then there is always the 'context' with which things are reported and the frequency and tone of the reports,,,

I do not care what color you are violence is not the way. Why hurt the people of the people of the city and the officers that did not cause this issue. The investigation is ongoing at this point. Now if they feel the verdict is not correct then protest. Do not tear apart hard working people's businesses of the community. They did not neglect the man's care. I do not understand this. Protest should always be peaceful. Martin Luther King did not destroy and still got his point across in a peaceful way. Respect and class the world seems to forget about today.

I agree except I don't think things were quite the same in MLKs time. I truly believe it was 'world image' that caused the change in that time,, press showing the world the injustices being suffered here in what was supposed to be the greatest country on earth,,

the press can do the same now, but we live in an instant gratification culture where the results/response doesn't happen fast enough,,,

This is what the mom had to say. Just saw it on FACEBOOK

BALTIMORE — A mother who was caught on video smacking her 16-year-old son around after he threw objects at police said when they made eye contact, he knew he was in trouble.

"I'm a no-tolerant mother. Everybody that knows me, know I don't play that," Toya Graham, a single mother of six, told CBS News. "He said, when 'I seen you,' he said, 'ma, my instinct was to run.'"

Graham received wide praise from people on social media and even the Baltimore police commissioner, who said more parents should have taken charge of their children like Graham after the riots started.

Graham said she saw her only son wearing a hoodie and mask amid the protesters demonstrating just hours after a funeral for Freddie Gray, a black man who died after suffering an unexplained spinal injury in police custody. violence is wrong on every level.

"At that point, I just lost it," she said. "I was shocked, I was angry, because you never want to see your child out there doing that."

Graham said she and her son watched news coverage of the riots together. And then the images of her reaction went viral. Comments started appearing on her son's Facebook page, many in support of her, she said.

"Friends and everybody making comments and saying, 'you know, you shouldn't be mad at your mother, you should give her a hug,'" Graham said.

She hopes it will be a teachable moment.

"And by him seeing everything what's going on I just hope, I'm not sure, but I hope that he understands the seriousness of what was going on last night," she said.

I posted this earlier in here. This is what mama had to say

you get mad because you raise them better, you raise them better because you dont want them to end up dead,, it all goes together

it was protection, stemming from the anger of believing she already gave him what he needed to be protected and seeing it all seem for nothing,,,

How is reacting in violence and destroying the community where innocent people live, standing up for what is right? How is looting from innocent people standing up?

It's a bunch of violent, criminal thugs using an injustice to validate their riot
what was done after a certain somebody stated this...I have a dream. what about a certain someone who's last name ends in x he believed in peaceful demonstration. what about all the black men who were hanged for what...just being black. one murder now by the police is too much so I can totally sympathise with them. its only what's been happening to people of colour for thousands of years.
you can say America has a history of racism but you would be wrong, its the present still to this day.

Bull,Baltimore is Democrat-run,got a Black Majority,Black Mayor,etc!
Black Cops beat the Beejesus out of Gray!
