Never give in, or quit and don't lose sight of your goal, no matter who tries to stop you, or put you off!

I love this quote

I think it's hilarious too.

I mean
The secret to success

and then the first line in the poster
I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career.

So the secret to success...is to have a successful career...that lasts long enough to fail 9000 times?

And all the rest:
- be a martyr, your teammates don't matter.
- work for people that aren't smart enough to stop doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result.

Among other things.

It's a funny poster.

Success is not perfection
Success is 99% failure
Success is slightly above average

So your secret to success is to constantly knock other people's posts. Brilliant.

Always a sour grapes person in any situation. Leave them to their misery. Eventually they become old dried up raisins. Or bitter wine. That people ignore.

PS. I met this man when he was still a rising star and he made many efforts to help other young men attain the best possible opportunities weather it helped him or not. A class act kind of guy. As shown in this quote.

He is one of the few, if not the only, sports star I will accept a motivational from. Our boss at work is a HUGE sports fan and used to constantly sign his e-mails with a motivational quote from one professional athlete or another. I finally responded one day with "Hey, how about a motivational from someone who's actually worked a 9-5?" I think what pushed me over the edge was when he included a "motivational" from Julius Erving, "Dr. J.". "Right up until the time I retired at age 37, I felt like there were still things that I could do better."
