Yeah no joke... Try meeting someone on this site, communicating for a few months and then when it comes time to meet, all of a sudden the mom gets sick and in the hospital and he needs money to meet me. Yeah right! So how do we meet guys that are for real and not out to scam you?

obviously i can't speak for every man on here but i am genuine, don't want anyone's money ( unless it's a lottery win ;)) and would be happy to meet anyone who i've got to know on here

I have NEVER felt more lonely than lying right next to someone who is a million miles away.

Its better to be alone than to be with someone who makes you feel alone...

Even if it means you become isolated?
Like so many people that use online dating do?
Those "too shy" to approach people in public?
Those "trapped" in their homes due to illness?
Those who have absolutely no other social contact except for whose profile they email and wig out when they don't get a response?
Or those on the forums because they failed at using the dating site?

Is it easier to try harder to not feel alone with someone or isolating yourself hoping someone else comes along?

Is it easier to find someone that doesn't make you feel alone or trying harder to not feel alone with someone?

A lot of people rationalize something that's "easier" as "better," just so they can feel good about avoiding what might take effort and work and dealing with fear.
