That's a strange twist. They look delicious but pizza is not supposed to be sweet. This is more like pastry or sweets.

That's a strange twist. They look delicious but pizza is not supposed to be sweet. This is more like pastry or sweets. True, but with dough (or batter), it can work. Like cr�pes- could be lobster in a cream sauce (lunch/dinner) or blueberries & syrup (breakfast or dessert).

I have a recipe for fruit pizza I have been making it for years sugar cookie crust favorite fruit pie filling ( usually strawberry) whatever fresh fruit the kids like the best that is in season made it for 4th July get togethers many times

I have made fruit pizzas with watermelon as the base, decorate with slices of kiwi, strawberries, bananas actually anything that goes with watermelon..The sprinkle with shaved coconut or white chocolate it is so refreshing on a hot day to have a slice that is icy cold

The whole dough thing here in this heat doesnt sound very appetizing right now....but all fruit "pizza" would definitely work.

I am a traditionalist/purist. Pizza means tomato sauce, cheese and dough crust. All these fruits on it cannot make it pizza. Pizza is a misnomer. We need a new name for all these fruity recipes.

I have fruit pizza about once a year. It's good but a little too sweet for my taste.
