Better than no invites. Anything good is worth a little effort.

Meh, the bigger turn off is lack of Information on their profile, you know the ones that just say Hi... and I'll tell you later.

I get them too. MAYBE, if there is any logic to it, and it's not just a result of sloppy software, it has to do with forum participation. Some people far away who seem to have checked my profile as part of figuring out why I might have said whatever I did, shortly thereafter show up on my "match?" list.

When I was little, I was taught to never play with matches.

Sucker. Now you know, that was just parents trying to keep you innocent of SEX.

I was also taught to never play with brass instruments.
Were my parents trying to keep me innocent of sax, too?

The matching thing doesn't work very well on this site for the following reason:

Unless you pay the only way to find out who clicked yes on you is to just click yes on every profile you're offered until you get a match. This means that loads of people are going to be clicking yes on people that they're not really interested in at all.

agree with the above, but i guess it's a good marketing ploy to get people to sign up just to see who has matched with them?

also sometimes when i do click on matches, it has been bringing profiles up that are at least 5 years old, is there nothing the site can do to delete these accounts?

they cant delete them because people come back.

---------------------------------------------

also this site is so cheap, I don't think people should expect so much. you get what you pay for.

im NOT referring to the above problem, just in general.

Oh don't get me wrong Debbie, i'm not knocking the site or the people that run it, i'm just saying as a user it's frustrating realizing that the profile you're seeing is years old and that person has probably forgot about this site.

The way I figure it, if one is a good match, then one can let others search for one. spock
