slaphead I am posting two sides of this.... well, trying to. Two sides of course does NOT mean their are only two sides, or only two solutions.. If anyone has a better idea, like mandate 'alternative bathrooms', & have Congress pay out of their pocket or telling the powers that be " send your own damn kids, to public schools & public restrooms, for 12 years & email me a scientific study, then I will forward a list you a list of registered sex offenders & illegal aliens.

It will probably happen no matter, if we like it not. After all, it is not like we actually get to vote anymore on things that affect us, our children, our family, or our beliefs, or morality.
Rant over. rant ... just vent away..

There is no way I would take my child into an alternative bathroom as being suggested. If you have a penis go to the men's room; and vice versa for women. This is absolutely ridiculous and I do not care if one is feeling too feminine Or masculine to use the appropriate facility.

At the very least they would have to mandate a new separate coed bathroom in addition. This would be a bad idea though as it would provide opportunity for hate crimes against transgenders. People would probably starting blowing up those bathrooms to kill them. Then me and my kid would get killed being in the bathroom next door. Wouldn't work!

Sometimes it's best not to get what you want.

The Hooters analogy is stupid; no comparison.

ITs coming,, the LGBT movement is going to successfully eradicate gender labeling whatsoever, the way family labeling has been turned on its head.

All that matters to make a family is 'love' and all that matters to make a marriage is 'love' and all that matters in 'who we are' is what our 'experience' feels like so anatomy is irrelevant therefore and descriptions that suggest male or female will be banned as bigoted. No male and female clothes, no male and female toys,, no more 'male' or 'female',,,,except in explaining our own personal 'experience'.

Got it?

To the TG bathrooms, my response

Im not fearful of anything. But we are just getting ridiculous in how we tie everything to 'equality' and 'rights'. If we should have the 'right' to marry whomever we 'love', why are there ANY restrictions at all? Why exclude family members who are consenting adults? Marriage isnt only about 'love' but about family which, IN ALL REALITY, relies on procreation which can ONLY occure between man and female, and we exclude family members because of how their potential procreation could affect children and we exclude same sex because there is no situation where they will procreate. And for those who are offended by comparing same sex to same family,,, get over it. ITs a legitimate comparison. I know same sex dont risk having children together with deformities but why should we stigmatize deformed citizens , arent they 'equal' too? And if thats the concern, than certainly Same Sex family members should therefore be able to marry right? BUt wait, wouldnt that be unequal treatment to allow Same sex but not opposite sex family? after all we have to make sure its all ' equal'...

And now with Gender/Sex. In all reality, once again, we have the physical bodies we are meant to have, there is no set rule about how hormones and feelings must coincide with the body. If you have or could become pregnant and carry a child to birth you are NOT A MAN. And if you have or could impregnate a woman, you are NOT A WOMAN. Thats the bottom line of it. And we can live an existence based upon how we 'experience' things all we want, but that doesnt change how the vast majority 'experience' you which is and always has been based upon your ANATOMY, and not some inner 'disconnect; you might have with it.

So fine, lets even just get rid of the adjectives that refer to masculine or feminine shall we? Lets have singular public bathrooms that all have stalls, Or lets have transgender females (those who 'experience' in the feminine regardless of their anatomy) and one for transgender males(those who 'experience' in the masculine). That way we can all just be 'equal' lets be monolithic 'humans' because all those adjectives we have been using are the root of everything that makes us feel different, unique, individual, or as the politically correct insist ...;equal'.

But no one but myself is saying perhaps a third/ alternative bathroom. Some states have ALL gender bathrooms already & public schools. Only 4 states have fought against them in public schools.

If my public school ever allowed that it would be home schooling for my child. Then they can piss in the hallway for all I care.

Im already seriously considering private or home schooling ( I have to find a way to work from home for the latter) , all the new social standards the schools expose my child to are not acceptable to me.

Geezzz... this transgender bullcrap is getting out of hand.
We got the same thing here with government forms. Gender is not allowed on them anymore because it could offend or embarrass transgenders. FFS frustrated
Have not heard about toilets yet, but I guess it'll come too.

some of malls have a family restroom that is big enough to for mom to push the stroller in and take in the three year old..

I thought it was a great idea
I hate it when boys were little
I took them in with me to the ladies room until they got old enough
to know they were boys and were supposed to go in guys room

then I would stand outside that door worrying about my little boy
whole time..in fact..if he took too long I would crack open the door and holler laugh

I love it. We should run for 2016

How about this for one of our campaign slogans?

Could be that now is the time to invest in plumbing stocks. They'll have to build ten bathrooms in every public facility soon.

I feel the same. I am tolerant and compassionate as to the woes of others regarding sexual orientation. However, it is a subject I would like to present to my youngest son at an age appropriate time. These types of restrooms would be confusing at such a young age.

I discuss these subjects as well as many others with my older children and encourage them to formulate their own opinions.

CTV Ottawa: Schools 'gender-neutral' bathrooms | ...
Gender-neutral bathrooms coming to Ottawa schools

Several public schools in Ottawa will be installing gender-neutral bathrooms to help protect children who are questioning their gender identity.
Known as "universal" bathrooms, the Ottawa Carleton District Public School Board says the single unit bathrooms will be in schools where the parents of children who may be transitioning from one gender have brought up the issue to officials.
"We're proud of it. It's work that can be done, that needs to be done and we are trying to keep pace with our communities," said Mike Carson, the board's superintendent of facilities.
Parents and their children who are questioning their gender identity have welcomed the announcement.
Charlie Lowthian-Rickert was born a boy but identifies as a girl, and feels more comfortable in a girl’s washroom.

"I look like a girl so people think I am a girl. If I go into (the) boys’ washroom, boys will think 'Why is there a girl in this bathroom?' and they might bully me," she told CTV Ottawa.
Charlie's mom Anne says the announcement will provide her peace of mind that her child is in a supportive environment.
"It offers children and parents a measure of security that they will be safe when using the bathroom, that they won't have to hold it all day for fear of being bullied in the washroom," she said.
With the creation of the gender-safe bathrooms, the school board says it will be turning its attention to other facilities. Two high schools have already requested guidance on how to convert change rooms into accessible spaces for transgender children.

Bathrooms For ALL (alleged) Sexes ?

I think Obama should illegally change the health care law again and mandate free diapers for everyone and just do away with public bathrooms in the name of public health.

If you crap or pee in public that's a $500 fine and you get added to the sexual offender registry, like some states already do.

I've seen stores that sell butt plugs, and I read an article noting they were the most shoplifted items from sex shops.

Use 'em people! Smoke em if you got em, but sht at home.

Other than that, I think public or business commodes should all be Japanese style. Sunk in the floor requiring people to squat or stand above them. It's not a day spa! No sitting around talking on the damn phone in the toilet!

I also think all toilets should be separated into their own cubicle. Like poopicle. With walls that are floor to ceiling.
Do people not realize that every time a toilet is flushed millions and millions of fecal particles are shot around the room?
And women that do their makeup in the bathroom?
Yeah, go ahead and put lipstick on while big bertha drops a creamy deuce 5 feet away, flushes, and you've got a nice sample of her colon all over those pretty lips of yours. I'm surprised there isn't more pink eye.

Personally, I'm far more concerned with the number of people that don't wash their hands after using the bathroom than I am with who goes what where.

I would rather invest money in ceiling sprayers that shoot out disinfectant or decontamination stuff every few seconds in the bathroom, especially at the entrance doorway than in any kind of 3rd or 25th gender specific room.

I don't think the gender bathroom debate is all that necessary and there are better things to worry about.

Ladies rooms...

What about diaper changing stations? Some places, they are out in the open, some places have a stall.
*Some have them in men's rooms.*

Some places have a sofa or a chair, in case women have to sit down.
* Cramps... guys blushing *

And what about bottle feeding ?
Breast feeding ? !

Parents and their children who are questioning
their gender identity
Think about that for a minute. Parents allowing children, many who have not even gone through puberty yet, to question their gender identity. Bizzaro frickin world these days....
