....... I don't think it really ever ends. I have been divorced for almost 3 years now and I am still in Misery, hell last Thanksgiving I even attempted to take my life, and was revived by a Deputy Sheriff and an EMT. Love hurts.

mine ended three years ago after twenty years I am actually in a pretty good place now better than where we were both at towards the end of marriage but then again I was the one who finally decided to file

Hell, I am now having anxiety attacks and I have NEVER had those before. I am not a guy who panics. That's why I've given up on dating and relationships. Life is much better alone.

It's been three years and I honestly feel the same as I did the day it happened.

Sorry you are still hurting. I hope you have found a good support group and have a better plan for the holidays this year. One day at a time. Sounds hard to believe but it does get better. And the panic attacks do get manageable if you make that your goal. The first few really do rock your world though. I know thought I was tough but and been through more than most but it is all about being kind to yourself and finding what works. Sometimes that is taking a time out on the whole relationship thing and just depending on friends, family, and the few that do get it. And there are more out there everyday Thank God.
