What can explain the vast differences of a saintly individual to an evil one...? and their motives? Mother Theresa did her very best to share love around our world..., as Hitler did his best to spread his evil....around our world...

yes he was....catholic is christian...

good and evil are just words, neither exist in the world... it's more of a "difference of opinion" than good or evil, as there were lots of people that thought Hitler was doing good... granted, on the same note, i don't think there were as many that thought Mother Theresa was evil...

The only correlation I see is that both, in their own minds,
thought they were doing what needed to be done.

Lot of stuff came from the Nazis ... think medical science, medicine, NASA ...
And sure, the man was no sweetheart, but he was definitely on to things, the more occult things, root races, aliens, the source of life, the Universe and everything ... All the stuff the Vatican and other high placed organisations keep from us, and lord knows what else. What they know may even largely be based on what Hitler found out.
It's just what he chose to do with it all and what his intention were ...

As others have said, both did what they felt was the right thing to do.

Mother Theresa wasn't that closely associated with "spreading love," that I ever heard. More, she was dedicated to a sense of duty. And she famously expected those who she "helped" to show the same sense of duty and acceptance of hardship.

And I agree with the others who said variations on that lots of people do all kinds of things, some which most of us approve of, and some of which we vilify, and all act as they do out of some sense of conviction.

Many who study the evolution of History (that is, the changes that have taken place in what stories we tell ourselves about the past), know that many people who we see as villains today, were once seen by a majority of the people of another time, as heroes.

I can't imagine Hitler ever being held in high esteem by anyone with a balanced mind, and an accurate representation of what Hitler did.

But in general, in all people, I have come to see just a few basic driving forces at work at all times. How much "good" or "evil" an individual accomplishes, often has more to do with how much physical/financial/political power they chance to have, rather than their motivations. A terrorist is no different than any other desperate suicidal/homicidal aberrant, save that they manage to come to control a lot more firepower.
