An arrest report for "Pawn Stars'" Chumlee, obtained by KTNV, reveals the reality star had multiple guns, marijuana, Xanax and methamphetamines in his home.

Chumlee, whose real name is Austin Lee Russell was arrested March 9 after police say officers serving a search warrant in a sexual assault investigation found the illegal items in his southwest Las Vegas home.

According to the police documents, Russell was reluctant to open a vault they discovered. He told detectives that he kept marijuana and guns in the vault and while he smoked "a lot of weed," he insisted to the officers was not a dealer.

At Russell's residence, police found many items including digital scales, a .45 caliber handgun and magazine, rolling papers, marijuana in various size bags, multiple Xanax "Zanie" bars, and a rolled up $1 bill with white residue on it.

Police also found narcotics and narcotic paraphernalia throughout his home.

Russell's lawyers told TMZ Tuesday, "We will be analyzing what was allegedly found and whether the alleged seizure was lawful in a courtroom, not in the media. Austin has great faith in the judicial system, as do we, and looks forward to a just resolution of this matter."

Russell posted $62,000 bail and was released from jail pending a May 23 court date.

The 33-year-old was booked on 19 drug-possession charges and one weapon charge.

Russell wasn't booked on a sex-crime allegation. Police said that investigation stems from a recent complaint by a woman and is continuing.

Is there anyone that did NOT get the creeps from this guy?

Maybe it is a woman thing.
I only seen his show once & all my alarms went off.

The pawnshop, isn't licensed to sell modern firearms.
So, even with felonies pending, or felony convictions,
Chumlee could still very well have a job there.

I don't know if I view Chumlee as "creepy".
Baby Huey on peyote, maybe.

Report shows what cops found at Chumlee's house besides guns, drugs
Maria Puente,

USA TODAY

http://www.azcentral.com/story/life/tv/2016/03/15/arrest-report-shows-what-cops-found-chumlees-house-besides-guns-drugs/81826328/

The arrest report for Austin Lee "Chumlee" Russell of Pawn Stars is dead serious: The Las Vegas cops found lots of guns and drugs at his house when they searched it last week, suggesting, police said, the reality star might be a drug dealer.

But then there are some laugh-out-loud details, such as: Chumlee has a "Chum Chum Room with Dance Pole."

In the "Chum Chum" room, police found and seized a "clear plastic baggie with white residue" and a "$1 bill rolled up with white powdery residue."

We can only speculate what this room is for, because Detective Cody of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police did not explain when he filled out the long list of items seized from Chumlee's abode during a search on March 9.

The police say they were investigating an accusation of sexual assault made by a woman against the 33-year-old reality TV star, who appears on Pawn Stars as an employee of the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas, where the show is filmed and where "Chum" has become a fan favorite.

During the course of the police search, according to the report, the cops found and seized marijuana, methamphetamine, drug pipes and other paraphernalia, lots of ammunition, and 12 guns, including handguns, revolvers, rifles and shotguns, some of them loaded.

Four of the guns were registered to Russell.

"It should also be noted that the amount of narcotics, narcotics paraphernalia and narcotics-related items found throughout the residence suggests (Russell) openly allows and participates in the unlawful use and possession of narcotics," the report said. "Many of these items are commonly found with persons who package and sell controlled substances, i.e., plastic baggies and digital scales."

Russell was booked on multiple drug-possession charges and one weapons charge, and was released the next day on $62,000 bond. His attorney, David Chesnoff, vowed that Russell will fight the felony charges, and any sexual assault charges if they are filed.

Otherwise, Chumlee is lying low. The History Channel, which airs Pawn Stars, also has been mum since a star of one of its most popular shows was arrested.

Besides the guns and drugs, the police also seized some of Russell's clothing and bedding from areas of the house, including laundry room, kitchen, family room, master bedroom and so on. They also obtained a search warrant to draw a blood sample for testing.

The arrest report shows most of the guns and some of the drugs were seized from a large vault on the ground floor. Russell also has a smaller floor safe in his master bedroom.

Russell did not want to open the vault for the police at first, saying there were "private things" in there. He told police that he had guns and marijuana "for his personal use" in the vault and that he smoked "a lot of weed." He said he typically would buy, say, four ounces of marijuana at a time so he would not have to buy it frequently.

Once it was explained to him that the search warrant covered the vault, he eventually cooperated and opened it. Police soon concluded he was in violation of the law prohibiting possession of a gun by a user or addict of any controlled substance.

That gave the police probable cause to seize all the guns and drugs.

If the way he acted on the show was how he actually conducted himself as an employee I would have fired him because of his mouth and his lazy butt.
Heck if Corey was as disrespectful to me as he is on the show towards Rick and the "Old Man" he would have been fired too...son or no son.

'Pawn Stars' star Chumlee avoids jail time with plea deal

One of the stars of the reality TV show "Pawn Stars" told a judge on Monday he's taking a plea deal that would spare him jail time in a case stemming from the discovery of guns, marijuana and other drugs at his Las Vegas home.

Austin Lee Russell, who is known as "Chumlee" to television viewers, said he'll plead guilty to a felony weapon charge and a misdemeanor attempted drug possession count in an agreement that will get him counseling and three years' probation.

If he stays out of trouble until 2019, the felony charge would be dismissed and Russell would be left with only a misdemeanor conviction on his record.

If he doesn't, he'll face two to five years in state prison on the weapon possession charge.

Russell and his attorneys, David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld, didn't comment as they left court. They're due back June 1 to enter Russell's pleas in Clark County District Court.

Chesnoff said later they were "gratified that a thorough investigation by both the police and the defense can lead to a just result."

An official with A&E Network and the History Channel said "Pawn Stars" is not currently in production and there has been no change in Russell's status on the show.

Russell, 33, was arrested March 9 after police serving a warrant in a sex assault case found a small arsenal of weapons, a gallon plastic bag of pot, anxiety medication and a small amount of methamphetamine at his home.

Russell wasn't arrested on a sex crime allegation, and no charge was filed in that case.

"The case will end, with court approval, without any allegation of sexual assault," Chesnoff said Monday.

Prosecutor James Sweetin declined to comment.

The type of counseling Russell will undergo wasn't specified. John Pacult, the Las Vegas licensed clinical social worker named in the plea agreement, didn't immediately respond to messages. However, one of his specialties is counseling sex offenders, according to his Internet website.

The plea agreement calls for Russell to surrender the drugs and 12 guns police reported seizing at Russell's home.

The weapons range from registered handguns to a shotgun and assault-style MP5 and .223-caliber rifles that were not registered, police said.

Almost 5 ounces of marijuana was found in jars and plastic bags in varying amounts, according to a police report, including one large Ziploc bag containing more than 4 ounces. Police also reported finding the anxiety drug Xanax and some methamphetamine.

"The weapons were not there for any criminal purpose, and Austin recognizes that the possession and use of marijuana is prohibited by the law except in certain circumstances," Chesnoff told The Associated Press.

From what I read he is pleading out to a charge which will give him probation. The people of Pawn Stars are well connected in Las Vegas. Just about every elected official in Las Vegas has had their picture taken with the cast and they are politically connected.
