Topic: It's freaking complicated....

Why do people get offended after hearing the truth when they are the one who asked for it in the first place? Now I wonder if people tell lies just because they sound better....what

* Truth in court could get you 30 days. Sometimes (often) it is better to just smile. A "white lie" can be dishonest and misleading. happy

Depends on if you sound like a cold ***** telling the "truth" Tons of people dont know how to tell it like it is with class..

whoa the truth is the truth... it's your problem if you can't take it...

Yeah ... So if you'd walk into a motor club and tell them they're a bunch of drugs- and weapons dealing low life criminals and thieves ... and they don't seem to handle that well, even thought it might be the truth, it's their problem?

lol.. and just why would i want to do that?

* Blow-back sucks laugh .But-but-but it is the "truth" laugh

you guys are really reaching now... did you people ever stop and think that maybe just keeping your mouth shut instead of lying might be a way to go? but whatever, i know now not to trust anything you guys say, since you seem to be scared of the saying the truth... or just not saying anything instead of just lying, because you're scared of what telling the truth might bring...

good luck in all your relationships, i see they will last forever...laugh laugh

I come on, smexy! Sure, being honest is a good thing in a relationship. And yes, sometimes it's better to shut up. But it's also about how you convey something. Even when it's the truth and when it's asked for, being blunt isn't going to cut the deal. That's where social skills and tact come into play. Otherwise a relationship isn't going to last very long either. Albeit a love relationship or friendship.
It's all about playing with 50 shades of grey and not being black and white.

BTW, if I feel better tomrw (not feeling too good today), I'm going to a party at the motor club, but I ain't gonna try it, lol.

I don't think the majority of us would ever condone lying and keeping your mouth shut is also a form of lying..

The point of being honest is to be honest without using it as a sledge hammer. As far as I know I have never had a problem being honest in any of my relationships...

i think that would depend on the question being asked to you... if my girlfriend/wife asks me if i'm cheating and i keep my mouth shut, then yes, that's the same as lying... but if she asks does this dress make me look fat, and i keep my mouth shut, not as much lying there...

Personally I wouldn't be that stupid to ask that question.. lol.. I also will never forget when my sister asked my BIL if that pair jeans made her butt look big.. I still chuckle over that fiasco. I finally spoke up and told her after her harassing him over an hour.. No Cyn the jeans don't make your but look big.. Your butt looks big because you are trying to squeeze into a pair of jeans two sizes to small.

But if I ask a question I would expect an honest answer... Or I wouldn't ask it in the first place.

But honestly what do I know?... I will keep on trudging along being as honest as I can at all times and hope I don't hurt others along the way...

I also will only ask something if I really want to know.. I do believe in the saying
What you think of me is really none of my business flowerforyou
