Can you share what your definition of a date is?

and how do you know the difference of when you are on a date or just spending time with someone?

a date is a marker in the concept of time

I think to have a date and spend the time with someone comes to the same, a date it is what you do to get to know someone to spend time with that person and get to know them a ittle bet better...I guess there;s not difference.

Date to me is two people that are interested in each other going out to do something together.

If i go out with another for dinner and no interest in the person that is just dinner.

A date is a ritual in which you engage each other in conversation and activities in order to get to know whether or not your emotionaly, mentaly and physicaly compatitable. A positive experience will normally result in another date to further explore your connection with the other. Or if your really lonely it may result in intimacy...lol sorry.

Spending time with another just means you are together, but does not require any engagement of conversation or activities and really has no meaning at all but to fill a void of loneliness. That's pretty pathetic, just call it a date to save face!!!

I thought it would be fun to try and make it sound technical.... that was fun. I'm such a dork. Btw, this is my opinion and does not infer that this is actually any sort of ligitimate definition of the terms stated above and is meant for entertainment purposes only.(that's my disclaimer should anyone have something bad happen to them after reading this) P.S. If my spelling sucks... I don't really care. Ok, yes I do, but oh well, I'm too tired right now to look up words that I feel I may have screwed up on. Hey, sue me. ok, don't sue me, I need the money for bills.
