THIS POST IS NOT A HEALTH TOPIC. LETS KEEP IT IN CHIT CHAT. THANKS.

Basically, women start to fall apart around age 40

We know that a lot could happen to a women over 40, especially psychologically, but we are going to talk about the physical body factors here. How does the metabolism change, thus placing an effect on the physical portion of the body. How do the hormones change and how does the need of a women change.

A women starts major process of change after age forty. Her body starts to shift gears in a different direction. The hormones start to change drastically, giving rise to many different changes within the system and the anatomy. Usually, there is a huge drop of hormone estrogen, which affects a women's system dramatically- from the way she feels to the way she metabolizes food. As the estrogen levels disappear, the cells feel a loss telling the body that they need to be replaced. There are a lot of estrogen dependant cells in the stomach area, thus we see more difference in the mid section than other parts of the body. Hunger becomes more predominant, giving rise to an appetite that is insatiable. The cells are missing estrogen and are requesting for it to be replace, therefore the individual feels hungry and has a desire to eat more to satisfy its need; while the body's ability to metabolize lessens. In addition, the estrogen usually, helps to metabolize fat more efficiently; and not being there anymore to do its job, fat starts to accumulate easily. Therefore, women start to see weight gain, especially around their waist.

Muscle loss is another factor that happens drastically after forty. Each decade there will be an amount of muscle loss (this amount depends on the individual and how their body behaves; in addition to how the person is keeping her body mass. It usually would be from 3 to 8% muscle loss per decade). After twenty years of age, the body starts to accumulate fat, if appropriate amount of exercise and diet are not taken into consideration. So, by age forty, depending on how the individual has lived her life, there will be a change seen. The rate of metabolization drops drastically, thus a change of behavior in how one eats and exercises needs to take place in order to maintain a healthy body. It is not, necessarily, difficult but rather a change that one needs to adjust to and become aware of.

The term "WALL" is a guys term for a woman when she starts to fall apart and how it is perceived by guys. That's why I said at the very beginning of the topic

"THIS POST IS NOT A HEALTH TOPIC. LETS KEEP IT IN CHIT CHAT. THANKS."

The main text describes how the term began.

It does NOT have to do with:

Sports, Health & Fitness
Talk about sports and physical well-being here

If the topic was how to combat aging after 40 for the active woman then I would say yes it is a health topic.

To be fair OP....One of your links is a health section of a website, so there's that....
I really don't see how what section this thread is in matters, but whatever floats your boat.

Erm ... that's basically describing possible effects of menopause, which in many/most women doesn't start at 40. For some it starts earlier, for others much later.
Not every woman 'suffers' the same effects either. Bit of a blanket statement to say this will happen to every woman. It doesn't.

I also don't like your lack of respect. "A woman starts to fall apart" How loving.
Maybe it's good to realize that most every man over 40 can't get a proper hard-on anymore which is quite essential for a woman's climax during sex, lot of men also lose muscle, they also gain weight esp around the mid-section, their pecs start to go and they get sagged t*ts, their baw bag drops, their skin gets drier and wrinklier just the same.

At the same time your man's body collapses, women in their 40s and 50s are at their sexual peak. We feel good about ourselves, we shine, we're confident and very much want sex! Which is exactly why younger -and still fully potent- men want us so badly

Oh mylaugh

So we have a wall between the ages of 40-65...

What I read over and over in that article was a whole lot of hype
Some was repeated over and over...

Do we humans loose bone mass of course we do
Do we humans metabolism slow down as we age sure does.
Do we humans tend to gain weight as we age.. some do for sure..

Hate to break it to you, I googled ... When does these things start to happen to men and women. It was so comparable... The only thing that really sucked for men was their sex drive peaked around 18.. Dang.. Now wonder there are so many after market items out there for sale...

I took the liberty of googling for ya the exact wordage you chose
substituted men instead of women...

And at first I was a bit worried about the "Wall" for women instead I am so relieved since men's is in their 30's.

I put just as much credence in this article as I did yours. For this reason and this reason alone... Yes I am repeating myself herelaugh

We human's will loose muscle mass as we age.
We human's will loose bone density as we age
We human's tend to gain weight as we age not all some.

I will say some humans as they get older will get lazy and not be as active. Who cares... If they don't float your boat someone else will...

I am not going to speak for other women but I feel vibrant.. Sexy ...healthy and totally in-shape . I look at men my own age .... and not all ... but many have "gone to pieces" as you say .. Clearly age has not been so kind to them in many regards . Factor in a higher risk for heart attack... On average Shorter lifespan than women .. Declining testosterone levels ( men have their own menopause ) and male pattern baldness / receding hairlines .. I think women have the better deal after 40 and it shows tongue2  waving

Agree...I "went to pieces" after I turned 20. You still look beautiful at 30winking flowerforyou

Eating right and staying active are important for men and women. That said, I find confident men attractive; six packs, like batteries, not required.
