I replaced the original electronics with EMG electronics which are much more robust IMO. I also replaced the pick ups with the N3 Tele pick ups which give a less twangy tone. Copper jacketing again of course.

This is my goldtop. The flash makes it look very bright. It was stock when I got it but didn't like the pickups which I already had in another guitar and wanted a different tone. I chose the SD 2 wire Slash pickups, added the roller bridge due to the bigsby tremolo and changed out the tuners from those kinda ugly standard pale green ones to the butterscotch ones. They match the guitar better IMO. This guitar sounds exactly like Slash's.

This is my '83 SG. This guitar had been stored in a humid environment for quite some time. The electronics were all rusted and the copper in the pickups was falling apart. The neck had been over tightened and was twisted. I put the guitar in a neck jig and clamped it hard and left it for about a year. The neck straightened out and has been straight for 4 years now.

Here's a close up of the body without the camera flash. If you look at the pick guard the screws are all rusted. I left it like that to show its age. The pick ups are high end dimarzio's. I replaced all the hardware with vintage Gibson parts including the electronics from the same year. I couldn't find the pickups tho. Guitar sounds awesome and plays great.

Hey there yeti.. No I don't have any vids posted. I know I made some vids but they are on my other puter. I think I have vids of me playin the custom pro, the 80 les paul and my strat which you haven't seen yet. I'll see if I can dig them up and post them to youtube. If ya want to post a pic in photobucket, just click library, this brings up the pics with a little arrow that appears on the pictures. Click the arrow and you will see a header appear on the bottom of your screen. Select link, this will generate the codes for ya. Copy the Direct code url and paste it in using the brackets they show in the BB codes section for images and boom the pic will appear. Don't forget to click on the arrow again to deselect the pic if ya wanna upload another. Then just do the process over for the next pic.

Ok here's the dulcimer, was my mother in laws. The ex hasn't had any problems with me having it so far, she doesn't play. She has a clipping from a newspaper in 72 I think of her mother playing it by a lake, which is really cool. I'll post the unfortunate crack next
