Bachelor aka ‘stag’ parties are known for their outrageous behavior, but one appears to have crossed the line after group selfies with a sex doll snapped at New York City’s Ground Zero caused outrage across the internet.

The men, believed to be from London, were spotted at what for many is a sacred site on Friday, complete with the token stag party accessory - the inflatable sex doll.

Photos posted online show the men carrying the air-filled gag gift around with them and taking selfies by the reflecting pools at the memorial site.

After receiving complaints from others in the area, police were forced to ask the men to leave, at which point they told the officer they were “just a bachelor party,” according to the Daily Mail.

It’s understood they followed up all other questions from police with “no comment.”

Social media users have branded the men’s behavior as “stupid” and “disgusting,” while another suggested the men should be imprisoned for a year before being banned from the country.

Rosanne Hughes, a member of the New Jersey 9/11 Memorial Foundation, said she was “speechless” to hear of a stag party celebrating at Ground Zero.

“I don't even have any words for that - that's a disgrace,” said Hughes. “That is sacred ground, I lost my husband [in the attack] and I don't even know what to say - it's disgusting.”

Deport them & ban them permanently.
Write London on the doll & hang it up for all to see.

Next case...

"Intoxicated and thoughtless people behaving badly because they think it's hilarious" is a fairly common theme around the world. I've read about people going to tourist attractions all over the place, and taking nude selfies, or "mooning" the camera, and so on.

I can't see any reason to imprison these buffoons. Why spend our tax dollars on that? Fine them painfully for their idiocy, and send them home at their own additional expense.

One thing we DON'T want to do, is to declare that this is a "sacred site" in any legal way. That would make our government declare that it IS now religion-based, and we don't want that, plus it might play into the pleasure centers of the people who attacked us, to know that we continue to think of what they did to us as some sort of special Holy act.

I see your point and mostly agree.....but I don't see what letting them spend a night or two in the friendly confines of Riker's Island could hurt....

Yea well... you thought it was alright when they wanted to ban a Presidential candidate of The United States too.
And apparently so did a lot of them.
(3 threads with that issue, & that is just the UK).

You also, thought it was okay for Mexico, to burn Effigies of Trump on Easter. And for their Ex President Fox, to curse him out, & give him the finger.

See what I mean. ?

So, I have no problem kicking out, foreign criminals or would be foreign criminals, & disrespectful foreign drunks, who mock OUR 3,000 DEAD AMERICANS ON 9/11

whoa

Good idea... let us declare it a sacred site.

Unfortunately not everyone views what's sacred as the same things. From the wall to the world trade center. From Mt. Rushmore to Yellowstone. From our streets to our beaches insurmountable disrespect for earth and society. Litter I pick up so much when I go to the beach. Taking bags along the sidewalks to pick up garbage that no one can seem to place in a receptacle of some kind. Soviet has become so lazy and ignorant it's ridiculous. No respect for anyone or anything.

I have no idea what you are referring to. I don't even remember seeing a thread talking about Mexico burning Trump in effigy, and I tend to doubt that the entire nation, or it's government leadership, actually did that. You are mistaken.

And I also agreed with kicking those people out.

However, I disagree with your presumption that the reason why they did as they did, was because they purposely wanted to "mock OUR 3,000 DEAD AMERICANS ON 9/11." Unless you can find factual support for that in the form of a statement by at least one of the men that that was their purpose, I would bet that again, you are mistaken.

This smacks of nothing more than thoughtless, irresponsible bad behavior by a few intoxicated louts. Blowing it out of all proportion and distorting the facts in order to feel a sense of self-righteous indignation might be fun, but it will contribute nothing at all to making the world a better place, nor to preventing more such acts of idiocy.

Only real observation of actual facts, ever makes the world better. Self delusions for the sake of emotional satisfaction does either nothing, or makes things worse.

I thought Hillary told Bill to stay away from Ground Zero around 9/11? That's why she went down today! The real reason revealed!

Agreed, Rikers is tougher then most US prisons. Let them sit in the can for a week while we get the paperwork ready to deport them.
