I hate sites that bait you by saying that they are free and then when you waste your time joining them, you realize that to effectively utilize the site, you have to fork out money. This is (another) one of those sites. Just making an observation.......

Dude, I have been enjoying this site for the last five years, and I have never paid money for it.

Welcome :-)

Not too accurate, I have also been here many years
and I do not know anybody who has ever paid.

You can get the job done for free.
I suspect you refer to a couple of perks you can get
with the Premium package.

They are nice but you do not need them.
If you want to jump the gun and see who said 'Yes' to
your profile, you can do that with the upgrade, some
really like that feature..normally you find out when
you BOTH say 'Yes.'

Also you can be in 'Stealth' mode and no one knows
you are about.

Here is what is offered..factually:

If you can "get the job done" then why are you still here after five years? I haven't met a single person from here, and perhaps it is because I'm viewed as a nutcase, but it seems like there should be another nut like me without spending the rest of my years looking....

This website isn't just for dating. It is also for socializing.

The pay dating service I talked to charges a couple of thousand, but at least they guarantee a number of dates that show some kind of compatibility. The "online" women that I've talked to have asked me for money, and tires for their car! I would like to think that you can meet someone honest and credible here, but I'm not so sure at this point.

How can they "guarantee" a number of dates? They certainly can't force someone to go out with another. Or do you mean a better selection of women to choose to email to?

Because I work here :-)

And as David says, it has evolved into a social site..
friends are made..real ones last beyond here as
many of mine do.

maybe try the site out before whining... there's no reason to pay any money on here, you just need to learn more about the site...

Don't give up. Honest, decent women are out there. I have been on a couple sites, here for a few days. Scammers are everywhere. Just block them & move on. :-)
