Your starting point for this thread, is a false characterization of the origin of the phrase you used.

That makes no sense and scores no points, because the above statement is what is called a naked assertion fallacy since it fails to provide substantiation for the claim, a very popular debate tactic second to strawman.

That is, no one has seriously claimed that Democrats are "the educated voters."

Those interested can simply do a quick google search and discover liberals believe they are a cut above the rest and therefore their votes are better placed.

Highly educated adults – particularly those who have attended graduate school – are far more likely than those with less education to take predominantly liberal positions across a range of political values.

and the last time I checked liberal are dems.

What you are eagerly misunderstanding, are the media chat reports, where they talk about some of the subgroups that SOME of the poll taking prognosticators tried to use to predict the outcome.

I misunderstand nothing. That sentiment, from those in the very same subgroups have been echoed, but thanks for giving it a good go. Because they are a subgroup changes nothing, feel free to defend the position.

ONE of those groups, is the voters with college educations. As with ALL such subgroups, they are not a political party, or a social group, or any kind of coordinated bunch of people.

ah now the strawman argument. To those who are not familiar that is when an opponent creates a defensible position for themselves, a position I did not argue. Well I suppose it could also be a nonsequitor disjunct fallacy, either way it assumes or wants readers to assume that a group must be a political party for the statement I made to be valid, which is entirely false and diversion from my point.

Some time in the past, SOME poll taker IMAGINED that by testing for education level as a part of taking opinions, that they could use education level as a functional way to predict how people would vote.

It can also be used as condescending propaganda to insinuate those with higher education vote dem.

On the other hand since schools in the US are generally understood to be indoctrination centers, and a good gauge on how well their state agenda is being achieved through 'higher' education.

If you are willing to read and think, that should help you to realize that some ONLOOKERS might try to turn WHATEVER difference the poll takers think they see between the opinions of college educated people and non-college educated people, combined with their existing prejudices for or against education, and their resentment of those prejudices in others, into a way to make fun of the polls or of the people who they voted against.

What a vile thing to say.

Then again it might be exactly 'just what it is'.

A Wider Ideological Gap Between More and Less Educated Adults

Political polarization update

There are also growing ideological divisions along educational and generational lines.

4-22-2016_01Highly educated adults – particularly those who have attended graduate school – are far more likely than those with less education to take predominantly liberal positions across a range of political values. And these differences have increased over the past two decades.
http://www.people-press.org/2016/04/26/a-wider-ideological-gap-between-more-and-less-educated-adults/

In short, what this thread is all about, is taunting. Taunting like this childish and destructive. It is destructive most of all, on American unity. Therefore I suggest that people who think about taunting your fellow citizens, no matter what their opinions are, to realize that you are indulging in VERY Anti-American activities.

All for one one for all is that it? OMG

I suggest that anyone before swallowing that vitriolic diatribe, they do a little research into the creation of this guv where the creators (mostly cut and pasters) but creators non-the-less all but murdered each other the debates were so heated. THAT is the american way, not sitting around the camp fire singing kum-by-ah dreaming all will be resolved by empty words.

But again. No one of any stature, has claimed that all Democrats are better educated than all Republicans.

Thats right and neither have I claimed that ALL democracts....... nice strawman.

And even if they did, remember that there were Democrats voting for Trump, and Republicans voting for Clinton in this election.

Well they obviously would have had to have been the less educated 'liberals' as the chart shows.

So I would also call for everyone here, to decide to support our country, by ending these destructive self-indulgences.

Yes we can sit around the camp fire and sing kum-by-ah while the criminals continue to fast track as they have been doing since ww1 right into the crapper.

Just a little reminder!

FBI Files Show Valerie Jarrett's Hardcore Communist Family

http://www.judicialwatch.org/blog/2015/06/communism-in-jarretts-family/
June 2015

Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) files obtained by Judicial Watch reveal that the dad, maternal grandpa and father-in-law of President Obama’s trusted senior advisor, Valerie Jarrett, were hardcore Communists under investigation by the U.S. government.

The Ulsterman Report: Valerie Jarrett and The Muslim Brotherhood

http://blackquillandink.com/?page_id=8393

For most Americans Valerie Jarrett, senior adviser to President Barack Obama, remains largely an unknown. To DC Insiders, she has positioned herself as the true power in the Oval Office – a woman who, like the President, has direct links to the Muslim world, both past – and present.

Weeks after widespread Middle East chaos first erupted, and with a growing number of nations now poised to join the likes of Egypt and Libya into all out rebellion, some are finally questioning the role played by the Obama White House in helping to hasten these events.  Of primary concern is the reasoning behind Barack Obama’s quick repudiation of Egypt’s Mubarak, and near silence regarding Libya’s Gaddafi.  Why such a disparity in tone between one uprising vs another?  As was noted in a previous report, Mubarak, though certainly a dictator of some 30 years in power, was, outside of Israel, America’s strongest ally in the Middle East.  Gadaffi was instead a 40 year enemy of the United States – a figure engaged in terrorism, and repeated anti-American rhetoric.  And yet, within hours of the Egyptian uprising, Obama demanded Mubarak step aside, while days went by during the Libyan uprising, and Obama said nothing.

Perhaps the answer to this disparity can be found with President Obama’s closest and most powerful adviser – Valerie Jarrett.

Despite the information being easily accessed, most Americans are likely still unaware that Valerie Jarrett was born in Iran, and spent her first five years in that country.  Like Barack Obama, Jarrett’s initial experience was not as an American, but an American/Muslim hybrid.  According to an American Spectator report in August of 2008, the Obama campaign had initiated an aggressive program to hide Jarrett’s Iranian background.  This program received significant help from certain media figures who were only too happy to comply with the Obama camp’s request that Jarrett’s Middle East ties were not made a public matter – even as Iranian.com declared Jarrett its “Iranian of the Day” that same month of August.  Also during that same time period, Barack Obama admitted to the New York Times that,  “I trust her (Jarrett) to speak for me, particularly when we’re dealing with delicate issues” and that he ran every important decision by her first.

Jarrett’s family history is rife with radical ties, including those of her father-in-law Vernon Jarrett, a supporter of such communist-American icons of the 1940s as Langston Hughes.  Vernon Jarrett was the strongest link to Chicago’s Hyde Park environment that would be of such great influence on Valerie Jarrett, and then through her, shape both Barack and Michelle Obama’s adult outlook upon American and its place in the world.  Again largely ignored by the media in 2008, Chicago’s Hyde Park was home to such radical figures

what is that supposed to mean? Close our eyes to everything, sit around the camp fire singing kum-by-ah and everything is peachy or what?

no, it means , work on what happens 'now' to improve things

not keep obsessing over the campaigns that have now ENDED

MS, well said, election, done over, move on, I was debating whether or not type a post here, until I read your post.
Those that understand politics know, the issue know is Congress, next goal ahead!!!!!! If Trump does good, great, if he mess up, lets hope people react the same ways as this election. Anyway, people want to slice it anyway that goes in favor to their believe, at the end of the day, voters vote and the numbers talk. This election, we did not experience two politicians debating, we experience two Divas scratching each other in the middle of the street. This is Democracy, not a bowl of jungle juice. Last, this I firmly believe, Lets make America Great Again.

in context that comment was directed at trump supporters to stop reminding libs who won, meanwhile libs are protesting, burning buildings, and destroying property because they are all butt hurt over the trump win, which suggests the lets all just move comment should have properly been addressed to and directed at the libs who supported Hillary who is notorious for violating the law. Can we say like candidate like 'educated' supporter? tears

Oh and btw, this is 'NOT' a democracy, it is a democratic parliament little different from england. That is academic misrepresentation of the facts by our political indoctrination centers we call the school system.

Yeah.. the Dems need to give the guy a chance... they lost... not the first time.. won't be the last. So, they need to stop the rioting.. stop the threats to flee.. and help make America great again.

Once the sour grapes taste fades.. I think they will.. we'll see

try taking the high road.. makes ya look better in public.

if i were to say, that educated voters were the ones who understood that only white males could vote and accepted it?

understanding may be an element of education, but acceptance is not

the education that is vital is the education leading up to the election, not as much about the process after votes are cast

the education that is vital is understanding political positions , their responsibilities and boundaries,,,so the savior/demon type of praise/attack that assumes all things are the credit or fault of a single individual can stop

and people can truly be held to and only held to , THEIR job responsibilities and voters can vote in with realistic ideas about the jobs responsibilities and boundaries

If democrat-liberal fascists had an inkling of wisdom they would have called this election correctly and realized more than half the country wanted Trump to win.
Not because they are biggots, not because they're uneducated but simply because they are awake and able to calculate stated policies to their logical end and see that the entire Left in the US has been brainwashed to welcome fascism into their mode of thinking.
Intelligent Americans have recognizer Trump as a true Man Of The People and FOR the people, unlike Hillarious Clinton who is a true Sell-Out to George Soros.
And the Main Stream Media is as treacherous as money talks. Bunch of sold out turncoats.
The smart Americans voted Trump.
The deluded brainwashed voted Clinton.

Texas mother throws her little boy out after he ‘voted’ for Donald Trump in school

Since you voted for Donald Trump. You can get your sh** and get out,' his mother told him as they stood in front of their door.

As the child started crying and pleading with his mother, she told him to take his sign.

'So when the people see you outside, they know why you're standing out there,' she yells.

The child then sits on the floor as she held up a cardboard sign waiting for him to take it.

As the horrified child takes the sign, she directs him to the door.

'You wanna vote for him, I'm going to show ya,' she says as she unlocks their door.

She is heard saying: 'Get your suitcase and get out! We don't do Donald Trump here

The mother then slams the door after forcing the crying child outside.

In the video, the child is seen pulling the suitcase as he walks past their driveway and stands on the sidewalk holding his sign.

'Bye Donald Trump lover,' the mother says.

The child responds: 'But I got school tomorrow.'

His mother replies: 'Well you should have thought about that.'

As the little boy stood on the sidewalk, his mother asked: 'Why did you vote for him at school?'

The child said: 'Because I see him on TV a lot.'

She then walks away and tells the child he can't come home as his little brother starts to cry and yells that he wants his brother.

Barack Obama was elected via the Electoral College.

It is only when a Republican is elected via the Electoral College that the Left rejects the Electoral College.
