I would love to spend an entire day posting in the forums, but I am very busy caring for my elderly and sickly parents.

I agree with catinidaho. Many times I just have nothing interesting to say. So many people who post are witty and funny, it gets intimidating. But I disagree that posting here will help me to find someone, at least not someone in my local area. I'm here primarily to date, not post on the forums. But that being said I haven't done too much lurking here.

I have found the people I date, when it gets past the casual stage, actually read what I post and we talk about it. Sometimes it "out" some conflicts but it has also developed some relationships for the positive.
Another thread alluded to how some topics are redundant but if what you say over the years is consistent then that has worked in my favor. I do think it can hang some folks that come on Mingle still worked up from a break up. T |

Why does it feel like there are very few people on here being serious and participating in these threads I don't understand why there isn't more people on here. I understand that a lot are watching but just how many are watching? If you are only watching let me know. I don't understand why you only watch when everyone is having trouble getting through all the bots and scamers. I don't come into the forums very often because like some ladies, I'm too busy reading messages from scammers and catfish and reporting them. lol. I'm also on OKCupid and do the same thing on there. Actually, I spend most of my time painting in my studio and sometimes I forget about these forums. |
