I am low maintenance nor do I have the desire to be a walking advertisement for (insert name brand here). I dress for the occasion.. when I am in the market to buy , if it fits and I like it, I'm buying it. I think this topic runs in the same vein as keeping up with the Jonses' Ya know.. all your friends have that Michael Kors bag so you have to get one too .. Anyway no fashion clothes horse here... A few years ago I was arrested by the fashion police. Apparently it's not the done thing for guy's to wear high heels, stockings, small short black dress and a smile  I have toned it down now, but that's only because I broke my ankle in the supermarket It recently came to my attention that we now have the mantyhose, so pretty soon you can go back to your fave outfits! Even different designs to choose from. I've seen all kinds, stars, stripes, and whatnot. Isn't that great news!! Haven't I just made your day?!     Oh my! I never heard of these!

It always takes me time to buy garments. I sometimes rather spend two days just for one pair of pants. Once i find my preference, I don't care if it is the name brands or in fashion. I now still put on the summer dress that i bought 20 years ago.

came to Hawaii and the goodwill at my mainland location sent me a personal thank you letter for my entire wardrobe of my suits, ties, dress shoes, dress slacks and dress shirts i donated... Minimal clothing is the fashion statement here...shorts, t-shirts and sandals...Yayyyyy!!! |

Mind of my own    I am curious how you feel about the Michael Kors handbags. Do you like them?  .. but I would be unlikely to spend that much money on a bag myself . Male pockets are much cheaper : I like the leather satchel look with a short handle and long strap commonly seen in that rage but I prefer Prada Man pockets, yes! Exactly my idea, lol. To be honest, I have a serious dislike of handbags. Annoying things, I don't like stuff hanging on my shoulder, but when I go out they're a necessary evil. If at all possible I prefer to shove stuff in his pockets too. My smokes & lighter, cell phone, bottle of water and whatnot. Okay, he might need a bag, lol. But since mantyhoses are apparently hip, I guess a man-purse can easily go with that. Prada sounds better. Like the movie, right! The Devil Wears Prada. |
