I'm sure a few of the claims are B/s, but some of the ones who came forth have nothing to gain. Just like in Cosby's case and in the current Hollywood cases.

Fact is, what has taken down powerful men?.. in the world.. not greed.. not more power.. it's Pu**y

Kryptonite to a man ;)

I believe that unfortunately, in a culture of narcissism, selfies, and youtube videos and subscriptions, 'fame', even if its only fifteen minutes of it, is as much a motivator as ever before, but with many more opportunities to find it when one attaches themself to the right cause or person.

This stuff has been going on forever. Do you think phases like " the casting couch" are not based on long standing practices. Be it politics, Hollywood or business, it has been going on forever.

There are 1,000's of people out there who have kept quiet about these things for many reasons. And there are most likely a few hundred men out there right now who are afraid that some of these people will now step forward.

While I am sure there is a nut case thrown in there sometimes. I have to believe these women. Too many not to lend credibility to the claim. To me they have nothing to gain and don't look to be obsessed with the so called. " 15 minutes of fame".

Btw, that Al Franken photo was pretty friggin bad...talk about getting caught in the cookie jar.. Lol

Guilty or innocent, he should withdraw.

welcome to the land of reason!

and so should Al Frankin drinks

If a standard is going to be set for all, shouldn't President Trump resign too? Doesn't he have several rape and sexual harrassment cases against him too ?

Yes.

Accusations alone, in my opinion, should not cost anyone their job. When it comes to people doing their jobs, it should be innocent until PROVEN to have broken the law.

what a ridiculous assertion.
al was party to a tasteless photograph, apologized, was contrite, and was forgiven by the lady in the photograph that has publicly stated (more than once) that she did not believe that his job as senator should be in jeapordy.

the president you appear to support ADMITTED to repeated sexual assault.

the 'man' running for senate in alabama has credible accusations of being a child molester while a 32yo public servant of the justice system, actively pursuing and/or sexually assaulting high school girls and other young woman during the same time period.

attempting to make comparisons between a sophomoric prank and actual physical sexual assault, pedophilia, and statutory rape is indefensible, irresponsible, shameless and unpatriotic; which of course brings us to another point...moore has TWICE been removed as cheif justice for FAILING to uphold the constitution of the united states, and trump is supporting him, making him unpatriotic and in violation of his oath of office as well.

happy thanksgiving, patriots. waving

There are laws that provide for suing someone for slander or libel. So far Moore hasn't mentioned taking any of his accusers to court. Which would be the first thing I would do if I was in the public eye and somebody said I sexually assaulted a FOURTEEN YEAR OLD when I was in my thirties.

Very good point - I read an interesting article where some evangelical preacher (sorry I forgot his name)
Defended Moore saying the reason he went after young girls is that he was attracted to their purity,

How sick is that? slaphead

I sincerely doubt any of these women are making it up - in most cases it's the woman's character who is attacked when she accuses a man of sexual assault or rape, esp. when the person who accused is in a position of power. I think that the women accusing Harry Weinstein has emboldened more women to come forward.

Sort of like all the women who accused Harry Weinstein and Charlie Rose right? Most be liberal propaganda - after all - Hollywood is filled with liberals and Charlie worked for PBS

Like it or not...politicians are human...just like cops. There are good and bad. Can't judge all. Without evidence, innocent until proven guilty...except the media. I question those coming out many years later
