a nice dim lit setting

a lil soft music (probably light jazz no vocals)

if i am driving maybe some sparkling white grape juice

if not maybe a mellow blush wine

a day out at the lake! tubing, water skiing, wakeboarding and then going out for a nice dinner in town.

a romantic date is not necessarily planned, it more like the weird quirks of mental connection between the two people on the date in which each person is more focus on one another then the surrounding ambiance

A comfortable setting, laughter, honesty, drinks, no pressure and respect.

Let's see..
To me, a romantic date is only appropriate if the two of you have already been seeing each other for a little while. The rest should be fun dates.

My idea of a romantic date would be to look at the stars from the top of a roof while telling each other all of our most creative thoughts. We would count all the shooting stars and point out our favorite constellations while being humbled into a state of wonder and awe by the hugeass universe we are seeing.

The point would be to establish a strong, deep, real and honest connection...as much as I LOVE drinker drinker drinker , there would ideally be no alcohol like wine involved so that the girl and I could "be real" with each other.

...ok ok I may want to drink something
I think wine is too cliche, so we'd share some capt. mo devil

Something, anything, as long as it's just the two of us. I want to be able to look into her eyes, hear her every word. I want to see her body language, hopefully feel her touch. I wholeheartedly agree with Chief's thoughts of nature surrounding us, humbling us, thrilling us. It contrasts with our being, making out emotions and desires that much more clear and intense.

A romantic date,,,,,,wow,,,,is there ANY OTHER KIND of DATE,lol...
Dinner for two not fast food, wink, and a dance or long walk while talking and feeling each others minds with and through our words and looks.

Anything that we BOTH could do that was ACTION, walk, skate, swim, workout, dancing, arcade games like air hockey, pinball, \
I've had a date find them fum...Then some chinese take out and a set in a park or by a lake or ocean.......then just see if we both can FEEL relaxed and easy with each other...

Always with flowers, or one single rose, with my first hello and smile..Always layed back and open, never pushy...
and ROMANTIC, can be felt and seen by her through EVERY ACTION that I would give her, The door opens by ME,,Her coat comes off with my help, HER ATTENTION, is IN "ALL" OF MY MIND AND MY EYES...

A candle lit dinner and some wine is ALWAYS GREAT, but she MUST feel safe and cool with THAT...then a new movie and just talking about each other.....

drinker flowerforyou  bigsmile  Im DONE,,,lol

My idea is stoping by getting her flowers, asking her where would she like to go to eat and then go to place where we can look at the stars and have a honest talk about anything and everything.

Spontaneity!!!

Something so off the wall, and unexpected....

A bonfire, in a deserted cove, with a basket of finger food... and only the ocean and stars for company...

A walk through a city market.... eating fresh fruit straight from the vendor, and watching street performers..

A visit to an art gallery.... playing the instruments in a music shop....

Playing dress ups in a thrift shop...

It doesn't have to cost a thing !

Thank you MEN for replying. (Women's responses, as marrieds, don't count.)

Specifically, not attached men does NOT mean married. It means single, without spouses, girlfriends, etc.

Candle lit dinner
Horse carriage ride by the river then a short stroll
then maybe a nice movie by the fireplace
