you really shouldn't have to do anything, it's instinct for them. just get some towels and if she don't clean off the placenta right away you have to clean it off and thats about it. oh yeah and make sure they suckle.

Animals have natural instincts, don't worry she will know what to do when the time comes, when you see that she's looking for a quite place, get a big box, with some old towels, put it in a dark quite area, and show it to her. Soon you'll have puppies |

make a box for the puppies, so when they start moving, they cant get out.

Have somewhere set up w/ an old blanket or something for her to have them on.....can get a bit messy.

OK first things first! Find out WHO the father is...then start the paperwork for PUPPY SUPPORT! Don;t let that SOB (and in this case its LITTERal) get off home free!
 And as for the rest..just stand by and watch..most of the time they can do it all themselves. Have an eye droppper ready just in case some junk needs to be sucked out of the nose and mouth, etc. But most of it comes natural. Unlike humans (that freak out and think they can;t do chit when having a baby) dogs and other animals are usually equipped with good "natural" instincts. By the way, where was Azrae at when your dog conceieved????    (just JOKING!) |

Be careful just after your dogs "drops" the litter. She may be very protective of the pups and she could even bite you. Give her some space and time and make sure she has plenty of food and water.
