Oh my God! What the heck is happening here? They are coming out of the woodwork! Is there a comet on its way with the "mother ship" behind it? laugh laugh laugh

Hmmmm......., I had three laughing faces on that post! Is there something about the number three in the book of whack? Can anyone help me out with that one? huh

zapchaser..... Yes, there are three people on this thread who will believe any type of conspiracy, as long as it decries President Bush, denegrates our Government, and is anti-American.

I don't think it matters which party is in the white house. Paranoia knows no friend. The conspiracy nuts don't even trust each other. There are a number of periodicals geared to that group of fun folks and one of them, interestingly, is a magazine called "Paranoia". The key is to try to
separate fact from fiction,
which is hard to do when
your government doesn't
even tell you half the
truth of what's going on.

I don't think 9/11 was
a government conspiracy
because not even the
Bushies could cover up
something of that magnitude.

I mean, come on!

The people who screwed
up the planning of the
Iraq War, the response
to Hurricane Katrina,
the Gonzales Justice Dept.
fiasco, Plamegate,
Tom Delay, Jack Abramhoff,
Mark Foley, the list of
failures of the Bush Jr.
Administration goes on,
and on, and on.

This is what I believe. They were incompetent in preventing it, it certainly too incompetent to plan & execute it.

I absolutely believe there is a conspiracy to undermine the economy & create a deperate working class, willing to give up all thier rights for food, shelter & health care. It's succeeding.

So if one were to believe that the government has been involved in some form of a conspiracy with 9/11 then they have a Paranoia disorder? Just curious as to what you are really saying here?

Nope, I was speaking in generality. Conspiracy nuts have issues with paranoia. By "conspiracy nut" I mean someone that has a belief that everything they hear has an underlying motive that only they are enlightened enough to understand. There are unanswered questions in all of the events that they speak of but they often go beyond logic to search for hidden meanings that bolster their image of themselves and prove to the rest of us that we are lemmings and need to be enlightened as well, no matter how preposterous or far fetched beyond reality their claims may be. They are as real to them as the nose on their face.

Ok makes sense...I thought you were speaking in generalities, but wanted to ask.

"Shouldn't we expect that the rich and powerful organise things in their own interests. It's called capitalism." it's not so crazy. it's all over the news, you just gotta be patient an wait past the brittney/hiltonness and come back from the short break of more destractertainment. but i don't appreciate you passing judgement on me for tellin you what's on the news, that's

–noun 1. an unfavorable opinion or feeling formed beforehand or without knowledge, thought, or reason.

and i happen to love america where i am free to tell you about what's on the news and you are able to be a little prejudice if you want to be. it's cool

You're confusing prejudice with disagreement. I had knowledge, thought and reason when I wrote my comments expressing my opinion. I wasn't judging you, simply stating my point of view that I didn't interpret the article to mean a conspiracy actually exists.

this is a comment that some knuckle head put on here and other knuckle heads agreed with.

iraq- we ran thru them like butter, then we had to fight the terrorist , better there than in kansas city, your welcome- not a fiasco.

hurrican katrina, another rewrite of history, the prez called asked if they needed help, they said no, then when they were over their heads they cried save us.

gonzo fired fewer people than clinton but only gonzo was drug thru the mud, amazing!

TOM DELAY? What about sen bird the former member of the kkk.

seems that people want to rewrite history to make some look like crap while the others are look like a "rosebud".

what ever hppened to telling the truth in this country? what is next i dont like you so im going to bully everybody and everything until I feel better about myself. you are no better than a racist or a biggit or a egotist.

Why do conspiracy theorists (for lack of a less, dare I say, politically correct term)refuse to believe in common sense? Or is that in fact the issue in itself? drinker bigsmile

Moron, Imbecile, Buffoon, and Dumbass are all synonymous with conspiracy theorist.

aaronlyric, it would be much easier to understand what you're trying to say if you placed your own text outside of the quote box. Also, when citing to the dictionary the pronunciations are a bit superfluous. Frankly, it would be far better to use your own thoughts to express your opinion, I'm not very clear what you were trying to convey by citing the dictionary definitions of "dissent" and "patriot".

that dissent is patriotic..sorry for using the definitions, just tryin to make points without them being spun or misunderstood, definitions are clear-cut.

Well first off, I don't agree that dissent is necessarily patriotic. It definitely can be, but not always.

And honestly, definitions can be more ambiguous than well reasoned opinions, although I commend your attempt to be clear and straightforward...I hate being misinterpreted too.

I'd rather have to post multiple times and be clearly understood than only post once and be misunderstood.

Seems I struck a nerve.

Well the Bushies can be in
denial all they want.

Their lame duck 'hero'
is going to be out of office
next year.

Worst....President....Ever!
