Should a couple spend equal amounts for Valetines Day?

dont think it matters.....it's the thought that counts....just be grateful she bought you anything at all.

AHAHAHAHHAHA. Couples should get whatever is on their mind. It should be something that benefits their partner (regardless of how expensive) and vice versa. Tip: Remove the price tag! :o)

I don't think the price matters as much as making sure that thought is put into the gift.

Personally I believe its the guys duty to pay, especially on Valintines Day. To me Valentines day is for showing your girl how much you truly care for her, and that you want to care for her. I personally dont expect anything from her.

sorry, that was supposed to say--be grateful he/she bought you anything.

alot of people just dont have the money to spend. but you can make up for it in other ways.
showing love is more imoprtant that buying it

What you spend should not count...

Its the thought behind the gift that counts the most!
