Valentines day sucks.
It's just a commercial holiday. But it kinda sucks seeing everyone else with someone.. and then being alone yourself.... so would anyone truely like to be my valentine? |

Even the one time I had a boyfriend on Valentines day, I was still alone, cause he was out of town for his hockey tournament.. But I agree about how commercialized Valentines day has become.. I really don't expect much from that day. My mom usually buys me a stuffed teddy bear, and a box of candies, or chocolates.. I really love my mom.

I hate the fact that Valentine's Day is so commerical, and that for weeks we are bombarded with media messages (BUY, BUY, BUY) that imply that you are not whole unless you get something from Jared's!
If I'm on my own on Valentine's Day, I tend to plan a progressive (traveling) dinner with other single friends, or have a Girls Nite In Party that ends up being alot of fun. I won't waste a minute letting others invalidate me by hyping up a silly holiday! Who's with me?!?!
