Turn on CNN or MSNBC. Too much going on to report here. California polls close at 11 Eastern. If Romney doesn't win CA he's in big trouble.

It's unreal that a candidate like Huckabee is actually stealing delegates.

So ashamed of my home state (NJ) for leaning to Hillary Clinton. explode California will be a huge turning point for Democrats.

I was referring to state-by-state primaries. The endorsement of Kennedy didn't even help Obama win his home state of Massachusetts. The caveat was that Kennedy was trying harder to win California for Obama, but Hillary won there, too.

Sorry, forgot to say that those poll results are from Mass. alone.

Given the large percentage split by only Obama and Clinton, I'm assuming those polls were taken after Edwards dropped out of the race...that would be a significantly skewing factor for Obama which would dilute Kennedy's possible effect.

Good point soxfan:

Jan. 22 Survey USA Poll: Clinton 59% Obama 22%
Jan. 28 Kennedy endorses Obama
Jan. 30 Edwards drops out
Feb. 5 results Clinton 56 Obama 41

Kennedy endorsed on the 28th, and Rasmussen conducted a phone poll that same night (before Edwards dropped out, too) that showed: Clinton 43%
Obama 37%

Hard to tell if there was enough time for people to take account of the fact that Kennedy had endorsed Obama hours earlier, but there does seem to be a dramatic jump there from your poll cited Jan 22.

yea...ive learned from watching all these polls that these primaries seem to be much more volatile than a general election. A good site for election info and poll watching/analysis is

Or just Google "votemaster"
