Unrevealed Secrets
Talking on the phone,
The secrets slip out.
My crush finds out,
That's what secrets are about.

Secrets are made to be told,
People just don't understand.
Those things held inside,
Makes anything else seem bland.

He figures out I like him,
He walks straight up to me.
He asks if it is true,
I nod my head not wanting to disagree.

He hangs out with me after school,
We talk more and more.
He finally asks me out,
I think I dreamed of this before.

On our first date,
It ended in a kiss.
We had a picnic on the beach,
Looking into the waters abyss.

Talking on the phone again,
Except it was with him.
He told me 2 words,
That made my whole world grim.

That stupid secret made happiness,
For just a little while,
Now it made me sad inside,
The break up was hard to compile.

I never told a secret again,
And instead wrote them down.
I feel so much better,
My face never comes to frown.
