Ever had a fight where after a while
It was eating you ever got all caught

You still wanted it to just to prove
A ****ing point mainly to yourself
Because you learned 13 years ago
How the world really was ever
Sat and prayed that it would never
Change and still waited to learn
That it already has so you took
The plunge and ****ed it first

Ever hated someone and loved them
At the same time simply because of
Who they are and who you are and
How the world is and it’s your only
Way to have control ever misfired
All those years of rage because of people
You no longer know who might
Well be dead but you just can’t
Get over what they did to you when
You were doing the best you could
And you still had a heart inside your soul
I hope you never do.

If that ever happens, I hope you stop
And look at yourself and know you're
Wrong and that never works and all you
Can do is let it hurt and let it go
And hope the next time it goes better
And you make better choices but somehow
I doubt you ever will.
